I saw this a couple of weeks ago and thought "get into the 6 and it's only 3 games"

I'm not as optimistic as maybe you are on a regular basis, but I do think that we're now seeing the change happening. Charnley binned off, props brought in, outskirt props let go.

It's a momentum game this, if we start rolling through wins and confidence starts to come, we'll soon see that 14-1 come shorter.

I also hope, because we've not been firing this year WE go in as the underdogs in the ties, that way, we wont crumble under the expectation.

In short, I'll bang £25 on at 14-1 and still call them crap from the stands in order to keep their confidence down

The value in the odds is not great. Even though the saints performance was good we dont quite know if we have "bottomed out" yet. A decent win against leeds might be some indication but still more hangs on the other teams. If we beat leeds the odds will shorten.

Being realistic we need injuries to take their toll on the other teams.
I dont want to wish I'll on any rugby league player but seriously for us to be in contention we would need
A) saint to lose 2 of Roby, Walmerlsley or Knowles for the season
B) Catalan to lose 2 of Tomkins, McIllorum, Pearce and a prop for the season.
C) Wigan to lose a whole host of players because they have the most back up.
I just cannot see that amount of season long injuries or injuries right at the back end of the season.
If you have £20 to spare I would stick a load of lucky dips on the national lottery because you would stand more chance of a bigger prize.

Yes, I agree that those are the 5 that will be staying for 2023 season.

I like him…but not very big.

Steady player.

He was a squad player, but managed to play a lot of 1st team games.

He can play and cover the hooker role, but Danny Walker`s emergence has meant Davis rarely does that now

A tough, grafting, no frills forward is how I would describe him.

His main drawback, is his height, which means he is playing against forwards much heavier than him.
