We will. We've had more than our fair share of Challenge Cup success in the Superleague era and while it would have been nice for Keiron to finish his season by winning at Wembley, most of us are just relieved he hasn't fractured his jaw and that we may actually have some players for the game against Cas.

Agreed. It's terrible, let's not forget the 45 min queue to get a pint, chavs at the back causing bother and then having to walk past the smug sods after the game. Sometimes I'm glad 20% of them are unemployed.

we wont batter quins win or lose the cup final they got homecoming sunday i doubt they will train monday and the game is friday not to mention all the emotion of the cup final aswell im not saying we will lose to quins but we wont batter then = saints will finish 2nd and as for beating saints if we beat them in the 1st round its hardly a massive game id rather beat them 2 weeks later 2 get to final lol

So that just leaves you a scrum half that cries off at the slightest sign of a bruise and a stand off that turns up as often as a solar eclipse. So whose replacing Cunningham ? If your planning on going with a Scott Moore and Roby combo at hooker then that also weakens you compared to past years, also whose going to lead you round the pitch as i see no natural leader in the pivots at saints compared to either Long, Cunningham or Sculthorpe.

Given all these injuries will be interesting to see what Saints have left in the tank come playoff time.

I've been having a think about the Club Call thing too. I think most of us suspect we'll be playing Saints twice in the play offs but if we do get to week three via a week one defeat and week two win, then whoever ends up with the Club Call is likely to choose us in my opinion so we could well end up in Wigan for the last game. I know we've won there this season but they've lost to Leeds too so if they're faced with a choice between a team who has only won one play off game prior to anything we manage this year or the team that has won the last three Grand Finals then I reckon Wigan will choose us.

Of course if Wigan lose and so do we then Saints will be elevated to top seed and then they will almost definitely choose us given the record. Winning at Knowsley Road in the last game played there as specially chosen lambs to the slaughter will be the greatest experience I ever have watching the Wire if it comes to fruition...
