I'm amazed that the referee allowed Lebanon to carry on with their spoiling tactics. They did it straight from the KO. Try playing like that in SL and youd soon be yellow carded. Im not surprised that England had little fluency but for me the blame is totally with the officials.

Jermaine Mcgilvary should miss the rest of the tournament... yes Farah put his arm in his face, but that happens in a lot of tackles, no excuse to bite him, which the replay clearly shown.

How stupid can you be to bite someone in a world cup match, the english bias was hilarious in the studio post game regarding it... basically saying its fine to bite someone.

I'm not sure what you've been watching but I didn't see anything untoward. If you run you're arm in someone's face and mouth the chances are that it'll come into contact with teeth - or as in this case, gum shield.

So just to clarify. If a player arm is near the face of an opponent in the tackle. Its ok for that player to open their mouth, and bite down on the arm?

I watched the replay which clearly shown the above happening... and whether you have a gum shield in or not, a player biting you will leave teeth marks (hint, you have a botton row of teeth) as Farah shown the referee.

It will probably get brushed under the carpet because it was against Lebanon and no one really cares about this game, but it was ridiculous.

If someone is rubbing their forearm over your nose and mouth after the tackle is complete he should be penalised. Also, the desire to breath may result in you opening your mouth. If you then leave your arm in the vicinity the chances are that it will go into the mouth.

Yes maybe it should have been a penalty to England initially, but like I said, that type of things happens in lots of tackles.

"desire to breathe" is not an excuse to make a forward motion towards a persons arm and bite down.

But obviously you are ok with biting, so Ill leave it there, maybe eye gouging should be permitted if a players is held down for too long as well.

At no point did he condone biting, as well you know.

He forcefully gave JM a facial, he put his arm in his mouth, then is surprised when it comes in to contact with his teeth?

At no point does JM make a biting motion in the replays I saw, nor did he move his mouth towards Farrar to try and bite him.

Did his arm come into contact with his mouth yes was it a bite no... You at no point see him bite down on his arm so stop making stuff up!!!

You see him clearly bite down on the replay that got shown later in the game, and afterwards... what are you going on about? Talk about rose tinted glasses lol

And Farah clearly spoke about it to the referee and the interviewer after the game.

Guess that will be his tournament over then. His ban will likely be several games for a biting charge.

That just confirms to me that Farah is a whining barsteward. Here's a test you can try at home: place your grannys false teeth on a table, place your forearm on top and rub hard. Inspect forearm for abrasion. Result - yellow card for granny.

He'll not get banned for that....simply because he does nothing. Not a bite in sight...madness to think/see otherwise.

Seriously who gives a toss about the McGilvery thing,it’s deflecting from the fact England were utter garbage against a pretty much bunch of part timers. We just look average going forward too much emphasis on defensively solid players we have little threat and with mcgilvrey and has aside possibly Watkins we have very little finishing ability.

This comes down to wayne bennett 100% he has selected the squad team and dictated the style of play or our game plan which to be fair we don't seem to have the Discipline or intelligence to play.

Looked a bite to me, and there were teeth marks on Farah's arm when he showed it to the ref. Rush of blood and remember RL players are quite dumb and violent by their nature.

I've said it before but if you push your forearm into somebody's mouth you will receive teethmarks on it. Simple physics really. Also,if the forearm belongs to a whining mouthy Aussie, then there will be a fuss made of it.

To be fair I'm not sure how you can say " its clear to see"... All I can see is Farah forcing his arm so hard into Mcgilvarys mouth region that Mcgilvarys nose starts to bend to the leftt such is the force.

To compound things, after Farah punches Mcgilvary in the head Farah then sticks his thumb in Mcgilvarys mouth when he's pushing his hand over Mcgilvarys face. ...

I'm not d either way as England are a dreadful team but Farah is grade A house. ...
