Think it was in the guardian a few years back.[/quote:2acll0t9] Dufty and Wrench would beat Ashton over 50m from a standing start. They both have amazing acceleration. Ashton is no slouch to begin with but he's only really super rapid once he's at full speed because he's more of a rangy runner with a longer stride. We played Wigan away about 3 years ago and Ashton got an intercept. Before he'd got into full flight Jai Field had turned round from running forward and caught him because of how quick he is off the mark.
