In fact having thought about it a bit, if Widdop isn't going anywhere then the Clark thing becomes more of a reality... With Williams and Widdop in the marquee slots, Clark cannot now get an amazing marquee deal from us. So he has to choose between seeing out his contract on the money he's on now, or move to the NRL on big bucks as rumoured. That will be a huge loss if we can't keep him. One not really offset by Williams joining.

I can't see that happening given there's supposedly a World Cup on this year. Surely Warrington would prefer him to play for someone else this year, even if it were a Championship team? |
