ben westwood is quality though and is one of the best tacklers in the game.

i agree with you mate. i think we got rid of gleeson at the right time and has had his best form of his career already. bridge is a classic centre and has ajusted brilliantly to his switch also has a fantastic sidestep (like gleeson) and a great kicker, therefore bridge edges it.

Westwood is one of those that is rarely appreciated by the opposition as he doesn't provide spectacular offensive qualities. He is though hugely appreciated by 'home' fans that see his immense work rate week in week out. His contibution is mostly noted when he isn't playing. I wish he would conceede less penalties though!

Fair point maybe Smith has helped Westwood with his poor discipline. I would still prefer Mossop though, but as in most cases that's just a matter of opinion.

Yes, when i put my combined team up, he was the only wigan player i had in the pack. I put him in for his work rate and he is usefull in attack. (then i remembered solomona and edited my team)

Westwood is a good player and he'd walk a place in a combined 17 alongside Harrison and O'Loughlin in the backrow.

Joel Tomkins and Mossop would both make my bench which tbh would be totally made up of Wigan players alongside Feka and Leuluai.

In the long run all 3 of Harrison, Joel Tomkins and Mossop have the potential to far outweigh the ability of Ben Westwood but it's early days for all 3. In Mossop's case I think he's going to move upto Prop not far down the track.

Should be the same for Harrison IMO.

That's a decent choice, I'd have Mossop over Westwood, and Carmont as one of the centres, probably in place of Matt King.
I'm not sure about King as a centre.
