I imagine the club will open the ground at about 2.45 and show England on the concourses (asuming it's feasible with bar staff, stewards, etc etc). It's the best way to ensure people turn up and it could also generate a fair bit of revenue at the bars.

if its confirmed that the game is on in the concourses ill go up at half time but id have to have it official if thats possible

Obviously our game is on the Sunday rather than the usual Saturday to avoid a clash with the expected England game on Saturday night so that gamble hasn't paid off.

Crusaders V Wakefield and Cas V Bradford are both scheduled to be played while the England game is on too. The Crusaders game might be left alone as they're Welsh and Wakefield wouldn't expect to take a huge away following anyway, but surely Cas V Bradford will need to be brought forward to a noon kick off?

It would be short notice of course but if they don't then what would normally be one of Cas' biggest crowds of the season will almost certainly end up being their lowest.

All i know is, come noon on sunday the Lord Rodney and Red Lion will be heaving.

id of thought quite alot of the fans would have already bought there tickets for it and i doubt u can take it back with the i wanna watch england excuse lol so if the slub has already got there money they wont care if they turn up

I came past the postern gate bout 3o clock today,must of been 200 people outside watching a big screen that had been erected,even chicargos cross the road had door staff on,it was like warrington walking day..

There will be alot more than 200 on sunday alot more, especially if it's sunny.

Well I'll be on a bus from Heywood to Manchester then a train from Manchester to Warrington while the England match is on.

When walking from the bus station to train station in Manchester I wonder if I'll see a load of idiots walking round the shops with England tops on - and in some cases face paint, flags, stupid hats, the lot - WHILE the match is actually being played.

Believe it or not I witnessed this exact sight while the England V Portugal quarter final was on four years ago so it's not as unlikely as it sounds.
