Widdop has probably been out best player this season.

I really don't understand the bad press Mamo gets, he invariably puts a good shift in, isn't afraid to.roll his.sleeves up and has plenty of pace and agility.

Ashton apart, he's our most dangerous threequarter.

Mamo needs a new contract, he always puts a shift in he never gives up. Covers 3 positions as well.

Well for the last 15 minutes or so of that half we were good, much more like it.

Well if Austin was dropped (he wasn’t) then he shouldn’t be playing next week as you cannot drop Ashton or Ratchford after that.

Dropping Austin has massively improved this team.They just looked hungry for the full 80 and defensively outstanding.

Widdop had a lot more freedom today

Agreed very good team performance, great commitment and effort, to be fair we had been playing alright before the mistake from King which put us 8 down. The response to a man was terrific, great effort from the lads today.

Mulhern was great and so was mamo, Philbins best performance of the season (when started on the bench). Widdop MOM Clark was dangerous, a special player.

Hard to argue with that as an away performance. Attack is opportunistic rather than designed, but defended great all game and worked their socks off.

He is a class act. As a far better all round game than Austin.

If he maintains these levels, then I wouldn't see why we shouldn't keep it as it was today, with Ratchford providing a more reliable half back option than Austin and having the attacking threat of Ashton.. Austin has maybe become a luxury that simply doesn't deliver enough to warrant him being there?

Our scrambling defence was the key today which dealt with their big players & allowed us to cash in on what opportunities came our way. Great to see some enterprising play from Hill & Cooper.
