You could be right, we always struggle against the bottom teams and tend to raise our game for the top ones.

If I was the coach I'd be tempted to throw some kids in. Sometimes youthful ignorance can help, try and stop the 'over-thinking' and just play what you see.

Patton would be the obvious choice, but Philbin as well, maybe even Pat Moran who I thought was great in pre-season. Problem is, very few outside backs to call upon.

Probably not going to be our year, but, as far as "wishful thinking" goes I'd prefer us to turn our fortunes around get some stability and harmony back to the club and trust that the board are constantly reviewing performance on and off the field and make appropriate arrangements for the good of the club

I'll call this season a success if we avoid the bottom 4 and get an easy passage through to the CC.

I'm annoyed that Patton and savelio are missing, I can't see this one going well to be honest, Tony Smith asks Hirn players to improve every week maybe it's time he did the same, ego should not get in the way so whatever Patton has done to your pet cat Tony it's time to let go.

At what point do we give these younger lads a chance ? It's unfair that we criticise our younger players for errors and mistakes that the make but it's game time where they iron them out first team experience is vital to their development but Aldo first team experience with quality regular first teamers alongside them

It's this point that leads me to have lost faith in tony smith no confidance to give them a real opportunity Williams had an up and down season when given the spot but has grown from it and kicked on a lot! Smith never does that Currie being the exception and also exceptionally good who would have broke into any SL side do it's not like ts has nurtured him.

I genuinely hope we can at least put up a fight against hull and make hull battle for a win and maybe we can snatch it in last few minutes. The players a d coaching staff seriously have their work cut out to turn this around and hull will be a good start
