We've got one in Jesmond. If anyone is looking outside Newcastle check out places that have a Metro link. Sunderland has a very good one. Also plenty of hotels in Durham City, then 20 minutes on the train to Newcastle Central.

You'll be able to get the train there and back on the same day at that time on a Saturday.

Depending on who ends up in the FA Cup Final on the same day I might actually go.

I'm ok thanks got onto it soon as it was announced, I've managed to get nearer this time and same 4 of us going.

Used to stay in Whitley Bay when i was on the road & there were some good digs there along the sea front. There were some good pubs too & Spanish City fairground of Dire Straits fame.

Mind you, the whole place could be in dire straits nowadays.

We stayed in someone's house this year using airbnb. Should be plenty within a good distance of the stadium on there.

You might want to wear your riot gear, we're in the same end as Wigan AND Widnes. What a sensible move, there's no way there will be any trouble.

Maybe it's a way of bringing the fans together. Wire fans could support Wigan when they face Leeds. Widnes fans could cheer the Wire when we play Cas. There could be pictures of fans from the 3 clubs, arm in arm, plastered across the media in an act of solidarity. In fact, we could have a multi club conga around the stand and in the concourse....
