| Leeds were shocking and for me, brave words I know, their season is over. Wigan are the best team in the comp up to now (The table doesn't lie). Only Warrington will compete with them as Saints, Huddersfield & Catalan are in a lower tier. The one thing that they HAVE to do is to keep Tomkins on the field. We've found a way of playing without our pivots but this would be unchartered territory for the Pies. Wigan v Warrington at Wembley and at OT. Both will win 1.

Good point about Tomkins. They coped well with a decimated pack last night, but when resting Tomkins and Leuluai (as well as Richards), they lost to Widnes.
I don't want to write Leeds off until at least next week. We've already lost to them once this season (although if they play like they did last night, I'll be very happy).

| Leeds poor, but Wigan very impressive and took full advantage for 80 minutes. Best side in SL this year. If anyone's going to beat them ( again ) it's down to us, but we need to recapture last season's form ( or better ) to do so.

Our Super League season is as good as over, last year just papered over the cracks that have been appearing for a few years.

| Wigans style under Wane has changed dramatically and you have to credit him. They are no longer bore offs. They play differently to everyone else and the positions of second row and fullback are not used in a conventional way but are brilliantly effective..
They go down their right for alot of their attack but its so effective you can't blame them. As has been said. Best side at the moment. Alot like we were last year.
If finch, Lima, and luleui, are off at the end of the year, it will be a job to replace them.

| Yet again, Young Sam showed himself to be the best player from this country since Sean Edwards, would love to see him at hb again.
Regarding Wigan, the best thing about that team, is the willingness to throw the ball around and only kicking as a last resort. Certainly the team to beat, but 4 months to go yet and they are "peaking".
As for Leeds, bit of a false score really. A few decisions went against them, heads, went down and indiscipline set in. But any team that has Webb and Bailey in it's ranks are liable to be heavily penalised.
I'm expecting a totally different performance from Leeds next week. Simply, they are to good an outfit to let that happen 2 weeks running.

| I think it was an equal measure of Wigan playing very well and Leeds stinking the place out.
