Considering how CC gates are lower over here than for league games ,it will be interesting to see how many Cats fans turn up for the match...will they be passionate & turn up in numbers or will they too be thin on the ground ?

It's hard to say without knowing the actual figure for their game with Sheffield. BBC reports it as 7000 but Love Rugby League says that it was 3102. |

It may be that Catalan fans are up for any rugby game that takes place whether cup or league. At one time over here ,it was the cup games that gave clubs the best chance of a big gate ,but ,as we know now,SL games are the ones that draw the crowds.

I'm thinking of staying in lloret or Barcelona for a few days but not sure if we'd be able to get a train on a Sunday to Perpignan and back... Anybody have any ideas.. Contacted CST but theyre doing nothing???

I was looking into Barcelona earlier (maybe I could persuade 'She' who must be obeyed that a weekend that we can't afford in Barca would be a good idea). You're looking at £44 return on the train from Barcelona.

just booked flights from stansted to perpignan with ryanair going friday coming back monday cost £78 each was £66 but they added 12 each for the booking fee

We got the train to Barcelona last year, but on the Sunday morning after the game (along with the Monaghan brothers). You have to change at the border but it's a really good service. From memory I booked thro the Raileurope website. The station's an easy walk from the centre of town too |
