Got two South at lunchtime today, no probs, no queue just straight to the counter.

My friend is not back in Warrington until Friday so I asked if there would still be enough South tickets on general sale then. I was told that he would be able to get a South ticket no problem.

I suspect alot of fans will be saving their pennies, just incase we make it to Old Trafford.

What? It's a long trip.

I hope people aren't just waiting for the Grand Final, very presumptuous!

Also if they don't make it and lose, then it will be the likes of King's, Anderson's, Clarkes last ever game for Warrington. I would hope that even if we lose that these guys get a sendoff they deserve and not a half filled stadium.

Its the last home game for these guys, i'm sure there will be some goodbyes said as well.

Because this is the most important game ever to be played at the Halliwell Jones perhaps? I am not getting into this true fan debate but surely they would want to be there and it also just plays up to this arrogant image we have with other clubs by missing the SF as it is being treated as a certain victory.

If people have the money available to be at both games, they should probably go to both games... But, if people are strapped for cash and can barely afford to go to the GF, never mind anything else, then I don't really see the problem, you won't find me calling someone who's a little short on cash "not a true fan".

Always find it funny that they have enough for the final.

The point I'm making is you can't make assumptions as to why individuals haven't turned up to the HJ. Yes there will be a large element of 'glory' seekers, that's a given, but there are many other situations that can lead to it as well and when you get to the point of accusing individuals of being glory hunters directly (which you're only one step away from as far as I can see) you've gone a step too far with the petty "I'm a better fan than you" crap.

I've got my tickets, but fully agree with Paul. Moneys tight and I'd sooner these 'glory fans' be there instead of not. The more Wire fans the better.

If we can't get a near full gate for our first Grand Final semi at home then it doesnt look good for filling in the corners.

I agree here. I realise we're in difficult times and people's financial circumstances are different but our fans need to leave no stone unturned to find the money to be here for this match. I'd cut down to one meal a day if I had to.

The reality is that it's the biggest game we've played in our new home since Joey Johns arrived. And even that doesn't come close really.

As people have said earlier, wire do not have family tickets and for a family of four to go it can be incredibely expensive. It is 80-90£ people can't always afford, especially when old trafford beckons. As LTS has said, I would rather a full house at OT than at the HJ!

I say this with some bias as I cannot afford to go to both the semi and old trafford. I have had to pay all my money for rent so I have a very small amount to survive till christmas and if we get to old trafford I will be living hand to mouth.

We do not know why people can't afford to go and I personally don't mind as long as I'm there when we win the big one!

I will be there, and also there if we get to OT. My daughter is now at university and so cant make the semi but will be at OT if they make it. Friends of ours will be at the semi but cant make the final.

These are the games we crave for. End of season play-offs, the sniff of metal polish. If you can afford to go what would keep anyone away? No Sky tv for me. Full house and roar the boys on to Fergies den. Can't wait for the 30th.

I'm travelling down from Hull for the game on Friday. I am lucky in that I have made a decent amount working since I finished uni for the summer. If it wasn't for my work travelling back for the game at time of year would have been out of the question, so I can understand why a lot of people can't go. Still the extra interest for such a big game should surely balance out the people who can't make it.

As for tickets, how many do people think will be left come Friday for the South Stand, I've not got the heart to make my Grandad stand outside the shop for another two hours- did anyone buy over the phone the other Monday and did you have any issues?

Paid tomorrow so will be off to stadium so I don't miss out!
People may wait till the Grand Final, but I'm sure the atmosphere should not be missed if we make it at HJ!
