| My Dad took me from the age of 10 to Warrington v Australia I think it was 1967 and I also think we beat them or run them very close. The day was just so good I was hooked and with living in Lymm I had to get a bus back and two to get there not one of my school mates watched Rugby League at the time but there was four or five of us nuts went most weeks.
But six years later most of my old school mates where Wire supporters and I still see one or two of them now at the HJ once it gets you its in you it there for life.

| Exploring sport with my dad, had seen Man U soccer v Blackpool, Belle Vue Rangers Speedway v Cradley Heath, Wire v Whitehaven, all in 1968. Only stuck with one of them, still a Wire after all these years ( although Ovi Fundin was a cool rider for the Rangers ).

| A mate persuaded me to go along with him sometime in the 80's. Couldn't tell you exactly when or what game (I remember very little from the past, so little that it's somewhat worrying but anyways...) but it was more because he was curious and didn't want to go alone.
From that day I went to most games home and away until I moved down south when I had to start picking and choosing. Moved back in the late 90's and have been a season ticket holder since the move to the HJ.
I have a glory hunting stepson who's a lapsed season ticket holder and comes along occasionally (four of his last six games have been semis or finals - the two SL games, Hull and Salford this season, we lost) and a son who has been a couple of times and may well be a season ticket holder from next season.

| Some of my earliest memories of childhood are of me sat with my dad underneath Snookers on Sunday afternoon in the middle of winter. I don't remember the actual first game but I do remember players booting rugby balls into the new stand. The small of winter green combined with cigarette smoke, the voice of the announcer coming through the PA system, eating sweets bought from the newsagents on the causeway are all memories that will stay with me forever. I was probably about 10 years old before I realised that you had to pay to get in. Until then I just thought that you had to go to the gate at the far end of the Snookers complex and knock on the gate and they let you in. The only sport in our house was rugby and cricket and the only reason football got a look in because it was my job to write down the numbers of the score draws just before tea time on a Saturday to see if we had won the pools. Good times and not a care in the world.

| My Grandad's death funnily enough. I was never interested in it as a little kid, followed football, epic fail on my part. But when I hit 7 years old my grandad died and I basically inherited all his old recorded rugby games he had on video, started watching them, and then when the season started the year after in 1998 I went to my first game, it was against Leeds at Wilderspool and we lost 27-14. Pretty sure Brendan Tuta scored a try that day IIRC.

| I started to take interest around 10 years ago when i would listen to wire fm for the games. My dad took me to my first and only game at Wilderspool in 2002(think it was against leeds) but wasn't really interested as i was only 10. Dad then got me a season ticket when we moved to the HJ and had one ever since. Remember the first game against Wakefield had a south stand season ticket but had to go in West stand for 1st game because they sold too many tickets for south

| January 1975, My old man took me when I was 5 to my 1st game Warrington v Leeds. Went to all the remaining home games that year. First away game was Warrington V Widnes Challenge Cup Final. I wouldnt go and shake John Bevans hand when the players walked around the pitch pre match because he scared me.
It was a long wait to see then finally win at Wembley. I was starting to think I was a jinx.

| My dad despised rugby, both codes. He was football through and through, born and raised in Manchester and used to be a Salford United ST holder. So I grew up being a football supporter (funnily enough a ST holder at Blackburn coz even at a young age I couldn't stand United!) My mate had a season ticket for his much younger brother in the south stand in 2004, and he was too small to go so he took me for my first game vs Wigan (that Nat Wood hat trick!)
I've only missed about 10 games home and away since...

| i went to the challenge cup final in 1974......i was then born in November of the same year. dad started taking me when i was about 3. i used to sit on the wall at the front of the fletch, just over that roller with the massive spikes on it. we then progressed to souvenir shop corner and then, when i was a bit bigger, half way up the fletch. used to go to a team matches on Friday nights and get the club coach to away games. can't go as much as i used to, but go every time i am home.

| My dad started by taking me to Friday night games when I was about 8 or 9, but all I remember is the floodlights!
First game I remember is 1974 Challenge Cup Final (I was 11) but I didn't start going regular until about 1978, at my peak for home & away games in mid 1980's.

| I remember Paul Bishop and Kevin Tamati doing some training sessions at junior school, I think we went to a couple of games but all I can remember is sitting in the Bevan stand freezing cold with a hot chocolate.
A few years later, my uncle took me to my first 'proper' game - 1993 v Cas. We won 24-18 or something like that.

| Being born and brought up in Warrington my only exposure to RL as a child was when my dad took me to watch Warrington v Wigan at wilderspool a few times and I also watched the great Wigan sides in challenge cup finals on telly along with a few GB v Australia test games too.
Interestingly enough hardly anyone at my junior or high schools showed any interest in Wire or RL in general.
I started to watch more wire games on tv when SL started and I quickly became hooked. I started to attend a few games at Wilderspool and some away games and then became a fully fledged season ticket holder when we moved to the hj.

| My first season was 2002 where I was invited by one of my best friends. It was the high scoring game at home against St Helens that we lost, I think it was 46-34.
Previously, I did see RL on Sky, but only took a passing interest because it was Warrington and I lived in the town. After my debut game though, I was hooked and the following season got myself a season ticket and not looked back since. I've also completed the RFL referee's course.
My mum has started watching us aswell after getting into it via myself and my uncle, and she also has a season ticket in the East Stand, so planning on going on a few road trips!

| Used to go Warrington Town with next door neighbours, however one night they asked if I wanted to go the rugby.
That was back in 1993, I bought a Wolfpack for £10 the day after and have had a season ticket every year. I haven't been a Warrington Town game since though.

Anyone that started in 2002 and carried on after that season deserves a pat on the back.
