I fear we're taking the opposition a bit lightly. The players we've got out there are good enough but our defence often goes to pot when we make wholesale changes, especially in the three-quarters.

Fair enough, Morley has missed big chunks of the last 2 games, and Hodgson isn't in the first flush of youth, but to talk of resting both Monaghans (even though Crufts is on for Joel) is laughable

Joel is a threequarter, and not that old, so why is there talk of resting him?
Michael is, quite frankly, in SENSATIONAL form (where has this kicking game come from. yes we knew he could kick, but in the last 2 games, WOW, plus it relieves the pressure on Briers)
I don't even see the point in subbing either of them for 10 mins.

Let's not put too much pressure on young Evans, either. It might even be a thought, to just keep out of the limelight for a game or two (especially with tomorrow being televised). All it takes is a couple of early mistakes, and his confidence maybe knocked.

We can't afford to take this game too lightly. After all, it's a dificult place to visit, as some results have proved over the years. 100% tomorrow night, Wire. Anything else, could see us looking rather foolish.

Why is there all of this talk about the Monaghan brothers not playing? Is it actually substantiated by anything?

There is no evidence that I can see, a poster said that he had read that another poster had said that Monas x2 were doubtful.
I would fully expect both to be playing and would be very surprised if either miss out.

Morley has gone off injured during the last 2 games and Smith always said Hodgson would be used sparingly. So its hardly a surprise those two are being rested against the weakest team in the league.. I would think it highly unlikely that both Monaghans would be put in the 19 man squad and then not included. But as you quite rightly pointed out.. what do i know about valid infomation? I'm just a person on the internet.

As for being in a clique, you couldn't be further off the mark if you tried.

I was told last night that Joel wouldn't play due to a groin strain. Apparently he suffered it in the last 10 mins last Saturday and hasn't trained properly this week.
