I don't think I'd have forgiven my mam if I'd been born on Cup final day and she'd turned up chance of being there. As Wires71 said, imagine being born AT Wembley!

So you expected the club to wait 13 days before allowing the tickets to go on open sale, just in case some season ticket holders were on holiday with limited internet? Not the way major events with high demand work!

Probably not many but if getting to the CC final and them having the opportunity to go and get seats then possibly a few will come to games next season which is a good thing.

Instead of the negetives look at the posetives, who can honestly say at the begining of this of all seasons that they really expected us to reach a final? I certainly didin't.

Does it really matter if you are sat in the middle, to the right or to the left as long as you are there supporting on the day?

I forgone the opportunity to buy prime tickets behind the sticks to make sure I could take 16/17 kids down to watch and experience it. some are season ticket holders, some aren't. Everyone of them will remember the day they went to Wembley with the wire in 2009 when they are 90 and for me thats the bigger picture. If they watch more games next season then thats a bonus.

i'm a season ticket holder and do not agree with your post one bit, if your on your holidays then its just hard son, the date they went on sale as always been known, it was just wether or not we made it, also you can get cup final tickets all the way through the year so if you knew you were on holiday then you should have anticipated this. rant over

errr.... probably none. Wembley holds 90,000 people. the rfl are hawking tickets on tv, internet, email etc etc etc. It isn't sold out.

We got our tickets months ago from the RFL, since the finalists were known I've found out those tickets are in the Huddersfield end.

I don't care where I'm sitting, I'm just made up that I'm there where MY team are playing. I'll be shouting and screaming just as loud as any other Wire fan and if any Hudds fans don't like it, that's their problem.

How many of the 30,000 were at Wembley in 1974, 1975 & 1990? I was.
P.S. I won't be watching the Wakefield match but will be there the week after.

I did consider this fact and, having watched the Wire since I was 9 decided I get way too verbal/over excited during a normal game let alone Wembley so it would be almost a given my waters would go! Not even sure I will be able to watch it on the tele

Great. I'll not bother then. Maybe the majority of part-time Charlies won't bother either then you can sit there at Wembley enjoying the atmosphere as you and your mates have a section of seating all to yourselves.

This is daft. We were all "johnny come latelies" / "bandwagon jumpers" once. The more the merrier for Wembley I say - think of the revenue, merchandise and the season ticket sales next year if we win.

I've never really got all this, you get what you want out of the game.

If you want to go to the match, and get really analytical about it, like many on here do me included, great. Fill yer boots. That won't be everybodies cup of tea, some will just stand there, passive almost to the sort of 'nitty gritty' of the action, enjoying the atmosphere, crowd, passion, skill, whatever.

I suppose what I'm trying to say, badly is, we all want differing things from the match, whatever it is that you go for, so what, we all pay he same like.

You need to hope that Penny is playing then ..........

I was at the 74 and 90 final. work commitments was why missed the 75.
90s was my sons 1st rugby game, broke his arm week before so fans from all clubs made a big fuss of him. he loved it to bits, unfortunatly he got the football bug, so now taking his son and daughter, at the min both love it, will be there this friday and at wembleeeee the week after, guess what son and his partner must be glory hunters or is this another chance to convert two more potential wire fans. can only live in hope. see u all at wembleeeee come on you wire
