It must be a real driver seeing your prop partner making ten metres and getting a quick play the ball in allowing you to charge onto it.
They are probably being competitive against each other, trying to show the other one who is best. Morley's just getting it at the moment, but Carvell is running him very close!

Long may it continue - lets hope they drag Woody into the personal betting matches

| Morley and Carvell were awesome, even though Morley got owned by Super Maka more than once
Quasi Modo Westwood needs to calm down and grow up with his childish gesturing to the East Stand.

| Can't fault the guy, great defence, strong runs, 110% every game and leads by example, yet another fantastic performance.

| Morley and Carvell as the best pair of props any side has in sl.
Rau is good in patches, although didn't think he had did much yesterday tbh.
Woody struggled a little I thought but they he did take a number of very heavy knocks early on.
When Morley and Carvell came on in the second half I felt a lot more happy overall.

| I think you can tell that Morley & Carvell enjoy being a partnership, take satisfaction in each others work etc. We often talk of ´halfback partnerships´ etc, but I think the same can be said for the front row. They seem to drive each other on.
That point, around the 60m mark, where you know they are coming back, you know that they'll swing the game for you, it's such a lift. There`s no two props in SL that give their side a bigger lift returning to the field than those two. They are massive in every sense for us. Morley looks far happier with Carvell by his side in battle, than he ever did with Rauhihi.

| Playing absolutely phenomenal and leading like a true captain, at the moment Morley is Warrington
all these others players are only able to play as good as they are because of the superhuman effort he puts in every minute he plays.

Ok meant, when he runs towards the line defence, it isn't just straight.

| He's been very good of late. Certainly a contender for MOS. I'd say he is behind Graham and Peacock though in terms of best props in the league.

I'd agree with that. Morley has been in sensational form of late though, and although Man of Steel shouts are a bit unrealistic at the moment, they may not be by the end of the season.

can someone explain to me what "owned " means ???
Aizue hit Morley with 2 shoulder Charges in 85 minutes of Rugby League.
the first didnt bother him much and the second he still managed to offload a good pass away....!!!
I dont Recall Aizue troubling any of our forwards with any of his drives......
so again what is owned....???

TBF Zod all those hits did was excite the crowd, neither tackle gained Rovers any significant advantage and one of them if not both will likely go down as missed tackles on Macca's stats.
In all honesty Morley 'owned' each and every Rovers forward on Saturday and was truly outstanding in tandam with Carvs.

Makes you laugh doesn't it. He got caught with 2 shoulder charges which may look good but had no effect whatsoever on the game. Unless you actually wind someone when you do charge them it's a pointles thing to do.
As you said he off loaded after one and with the other it allowed him to get up straight away and do a quick play the ball. Would have been much better to do a normal tackle.

I'm surprised it took this long for someone to point that out the first shoulder charge Morley just got up and carried on the second he got the offload in with Aizue still on the floor.
You can't say that Morley was put on the floor by either challenge.
