| tis indeed....its like everything else they started refurbishment/renovation work on it and then one day the builders stopped coming and thats how it stands today, boarded up like loads of other locals....
anyway Howley was always going to struggle to retain its glamour once the showboat closed......  |

It seems inside like most of the framework is done again but it is still in a mess. The extension is falling off at the back. It is a shame because if run properly that could be a very good pub.
