I know the makeshift pack did a very good job against Leeds but can see us really struggling against Saints without Vaughan and Musgrove.

Good question. I was thinking the same.

He did his hamstring pre-season and the club said it would be a longer-term absence, so presumably he's still out with that.

Our friend Saddened is saying over on Redvee we announcing an NRL signing this week and that we have signed McMeeken and we are trying to bring him over early. Now I don’t know where he as got that from. I know some on here would like to have McMeeken here but seen or heard nothing about him signing.

Wakefield have reputedly offered a Marquee Deal for McMeeken for 2025 season so we will have to wait and see.

I can't fathom why on earth Catalans would release McMeeken early - I also thought it was sewn up that he was signing for Wakefield.

He wants to win a GF with us this year.

To be fair if we get McMeeken and I'd say we've got a sniff.

They also think they've signed Mcmeeken...........nobody on here has said that. A few including myself said we'd love to see him here but thats it.

With the game i would keep the squad the same, just Holroyd starting, Nicholson to 13 and add Philbin to the bench.
