He's not really had a choice! Of all our centres I think wrench is the best for putting his wingers away with a well timed pass. I'd prefer him next to Ashton than tai or King. Hopefully those 2 can learn that skill from gleeson who was one of the best I've ever seen.

He's a strong running kid with a big future bit still very raw. We'd be sorry to lose him.

Yes I'd like one who can play this season too. Because we sign a 20 year old prospect it shouldn't mean we can't carry on looking for others. Mind you 20 year olds should be getting a bit of game time now e.g. Wood, Holroyd

I am more than pleased with our youngsters although i do wonder if Thewlis has a lack of self confidence for a winger. Perhaps he would be better away from the touchline. I think for these next two games that Wrench would be a better centre option with Tai in the pack or coming off the bench.

In honesty I’m not sure I would trust Tai’s defence in the pack until he has a lot more game to me under his belt.

Didn't Tai have a few problems with his aerobic fitness prior to the season? He might find life a bit tough nearer the middle.

Okoro looks to have an offloading game too, which will suit Burgess.

Not sure I like this, I want a prop to be a prop. Yes it possibly offers versatility but I prefer the likely bigger size of a proper prop as I feel we need some size in out pack.

A player of similar physique to Mike McMeekan who can play prop or 2nd row would be great, but not a Jason Clark size back row forward, who was underwhelming when he played prop for us.
