Lineham tried his damnedest last night aswell as a heroic day effort at Wembley he can finish to if we can get a centre that can put him in a bit of space, one lad I’d seriously be questioning is Livett what has happened to him after that Leeds game last year? Unbelievable game then his form fell of a cliff and he has never recovered it

I know it is very noble & industrious for our wingers to be coming inside to do the hard yards but we need to be working on a system that involves our wingers receiving the ball on the wing ,through hands.

i said it before, i'll say it again, he finished off some tries in that game, he was in the right place at the right time for a couple of games.

Lineham?...he's the best winger we have. Solid...he's dumb at time though.

Lineham started his wire career pretty poorly.... But these last 3 seasons he has been superb... yes there have been a few silly suspensions and he does miss a few games..... but apart from that he has been a solid performer. The amount of hard ball he runs away from our line is right up there. He is a grafter and he always turns up for the big games. His best years could well still be ahead of him as well.

Some of the deadwood has already left. Just a shame it looks as though we have replaced the original deadwood with new deadwood in Smith & Burrell (tad unfair). From what I’ve seen of Burrell he looks to slow and sluggish for a centre position especially when you compare him to Goodwin or King...

Tasi, Westwood and Goodwin (I rate) still to leave.. possible one or two others to go also. If we fail to reach the playoffs I really hope we clear out a few more players for next season.

Agree, only 18 months ago we had matty Russel as a starting winger! Now our reserve winger is better and people are finding imaginary things to complain about. No wingers score tries with our team tactics. I was at the end of my tether with our playing style but then it delivered us a trophy so I can live with it a bit longer. Lineham and Charnley are brilliant wingers, we're lucky to have them.

Exactly. There are other areas of improvement required for next season including Prop and Centre. Thankfully the key positions (1,6,7 & 9) are already sorted already for next season.

Livett - been saying for over 5 years that he isn’t good enough.

Moran - might be Championship level but I don’t think he will be SL level.

Smith - Considering he’s playing for a contract he’s been terrible, definitely won’t get a contract with us.

With the known leavers added I think it’s now 23 players who have gone since Price joined.

1. He's not playing for a contract as he has at least 1 more year left with Catalans.
2. We're not looking to possibly sign him as he's just cover for the end of the season, as Widdop and Austin will be our starting halves with Patton as back up next year.
3.Yes........he has been terrible to be honest and i now understand why saints didn't play him and Catalans hardly use him. I don't understand how a player like him just suddenly stops being good? Very strange. I was happy when we signed him but now i'm left bewildered by him

Smith and Moran, I highly doubt either of them will be there next year.

Livett i’m fairly torn about he filled in well last year for Currie before B.Thompson took his place towards the end of last season. He’s been hot and cold a few times for us this year, however he’s only played a handful of games for us. At Hull KR, I thought he was was impressive and stood out for them when he played. Tricky one as no doubt he feels he should be playing week in week out at his age.

Livett is a classy player and has the makings of a great loose forward.
If I were Wigan, I'd be homing in on him.
I certainly want to keep Livett ahead of Smith.

Hiku, Savelio and Dwyer are the only ones that I would like to of kept.

There certainly has been some ‘ruthless’ decisions made since Price has taken over.

I'd rather cover Daryl's 10 min breather by replacing him with a prop or prop/backrower as oppose to compromising pack weight with a bench spot wasted on a dedicated acting half 10 min replacement. I'd sooner have a utility on the bench with 3 forwards.

Matt Davis has already show how good he is at acting half.

Daryl does not need a breather. Last Saturday being the prime example.

Has Moran actually been given a chance?

Yes. Great spot and he's a forward who plays above his weight. I've no issue with him doing a stint to give DC a break but Dwyer on the bench seriously lowers the collective pack size. Good player he is and a great lad...but with Middleton's strive to be the greatest club in the World, he may have fell short of the pack weight required for that target to keep him.

Only 2 sub appearances for us.
