Just had a duck and mixed veg soup.... The mrs had a chicken and sweetcorn... Then we shared a chicken and mushroom with boiled rice.... Well priced, nice sized portions and really nice.....

Summer Palace in Sankey Bridges, do a nice Thai Green Curry and Singapore Spicy Vermicelli as well as the usual stuff.

I can wholly recommend their salt and pepper ribs. Scorchio!

THIS is what im talking about... my favourite dish.

Are these ribs the long ones or the small short ones...... most chinese places do rubbish short ribs for salt and pepper.... river queen do nice long salt and pepper... well they used to but they have gone downhill of late.

The Westy (on Westy Lane, no less) was always good, before some thoughtless twunt decided to torch it, a couple of Christmases below. They used to do the long S+P ribs

Since they've re-opened, I've found their food to be average (at best). Shame

i had a chilli beef and egg fried from sunrise and it was awful..... i will never go back there again.

all the food was clumped together and the middle of the dish was cold..... proper e.

Had a jack and Daniels tonight salt and pepper ribs, prawn crackers, chicken and fillet steak Szechuan sauce boiled rice! 9/10

Had chicken kung po salt and pepper chips and hot and sour soup last week was all good but soup was very vinegary! 7/10
