| yes but if you havent checked the website, as not everyone will, then what use is that?
there was also no reason for why that is the case, the shop was empty at the time i was in, and simply wanted to change the size of my shirt, rather than get a refund or exchange for another item completely.

| I tried to exchange my shirt today for a smaller size. I had the original in one hand and the replacement in the other but was told I couldn't exchange. Very poor customer service.

As mentioned before though, on the website it specified that items can't be exchanged until January 4th.

i'd guess that now people won't go down before Tuesday expecting their time.
It is precedent. If they were to attend to people today then they might have a hundred people tomorrow (the only day they are open this week) when they haven't clarified with MGMT about things.
I'd recommend giving them the time they have asked for and don't expect special treatment. No matter what; they have set that date and i think they have for a reason.
they most likely aren't being plonkers for the fun of it.

Simple check the website too make sure.

| Wolfware is not the only retailer who are not doing refunds until after new year. Many oft he stores in town are, As for "well, the shop was empty", the store staff have been given their instructions and its far better for them to say "can't do it" rather than pick and choose when/who to help. Admittedly it could have been better communicated to the public.
(wonder how much of the returns policy is also the fact that they will get VAT back on any returns at 20%?)

im seriously thinking of doing this... infact all the patches on the shirt look like they will be easy to remove.
I don't have a shirt because of the patches, sewn on with what can only be described as fishing line.
Could be an expensive experiment if it goes wrong.... can you try it first and let me know how it goes

See you say you have better things to do but you have time to post on here? you have over 600 posts, but you can't take 30 seconds out of your time to check the warrington site for any news.
Or whilst your so against checking the warrington site, why don't you ask on here? or are all these to sensible for you?

It IS possible.....The shop staff have just been instructed not to. Quite simply they are carrying out instructions given to them by there bosses.
As for "within my rights to know why!"...... no you're not. If there is nothing wrong with the shirt apart from it isnt the right size for you then you're rights are in fact "tough titties". As a contractual concession the club have stated they will not handle refunds or exchanges until after January 4th. As I stated earlier, they are not the only retail outlet in Warrington doing the same thing

wow, how pedantic are you. i didnt check the website, and im not the only one who wouldnt have, as i had to go to work, and then had a chance to go to the shop on the way home! im not too good to check the website but didnt have the chance before going to the shop!
i check the warrington site all the time, did i make all 600 of those posts before going to the shop that day? no so how doe that in any way play a part?
i complained at the shop, and i am suggesting im not the only one, as you can see by the fact someone else said the same as me on this very thread, yet you seemed to ignore that!

well done, i had gathered that much, but i wanted to know why!
i have paid money for a product, it isn't right, i am entitled to change it, and therefore entitled to know why i cant change it!
my problem isn't with the fact i couldn't change my shirt, as i've said before yet you both continue to ignore, more the blatant disregard customer service the shop has shown on this and many other situations that have been mentioned on these boards in the past.
you feel that the club doesn't struggle in this area then good for you, but im not the only person who does not agree with they way the club shop is run.

They've put a public notice out on the most likely information resource for warrington fans, its not like they've hidden it under the snow over xmas.
