I'm not condoning the fella in question, but Mathers does set himself up for it by using Twitter.

There was quite a few "f*ck off to Castleford" shouts from around me last night and although people slagging off our own players during matches does my head in, Mathers should be aware that if he's going to put himself in the public eye on a site like Twitter when he isn't everyone's favourite player then it's his own fault if he gets stick. Either be professional enough to ignore it or don't go on Twitter.

It's a free program that you can download. It doesn't take long to set up. You can search using someone's Twitter name and their 'page' will appear, with messages sent to them as well as the messages they have sent.

Wonder if the club is setting something up so the fans can send good luck messages to the players, their was a guy and a woman giving the players some clog next to me from the south stand right at the front after monas sent that daft pass out. The team were stood behind the try line im sure they could hear he screechy voice. I said something to my partner so they could hear so as not to get into a daft argument.They really not got a clue about the game, the guys looked gutted after the game we need them to be confident for the semis.

Why shouldn't he have a twitter account. I really enjoy reading his page its funny and he does give a good insight as to what its like to be a pro player and about the club. Yeah he does go over the top a bit but he's an enthusiastic guy, if you dont like it don't read it. If that dumb kid had an issue with Mathers game and wanted to talk to him about it why couldn't he be grown up about it instead of being down right offensive. Suddenly back tracked when he'd sobered up and realised no one else agreed with him.

I agree with the previous posts that we should be getting behind ALL of our players for the business end of the season.

Their minds should be on success not bothering what Arseholes like "MichaelJones86" have got to spout on about.

If Mathers wants to use twitter thats fine with me but he needs encouragement for the rest of the season.

I would be happy for that knob of a fan and I use the term loosely (fan that is) to make himself known on Sunday and let the rest of the true fans show him what they think.
