I noticed Stevo and co. were buzzing about Thackeray saying how excellent he was in the first 20, but when he came on and we actually weren't a man down, he done nothing. IMO we have arguably the best front row in the league, and Smith seems to have the rotation perfected. Carvell is such a monster, and Morley is just consistent quality. They stepped it up a level in that second half and Hull couldn't cope, which resulted in Briers having plenty of time to create and put in some quality kicks. I thought Monaghan had a pretty poor game, especially the first half, but I won't complain about us winning

| Stevo spent about 70 minutes saying how awesome Hull were, before finally acknowledging there were two teams on the park. Still refused to give us any credit though.
We should still be beating limited sides like Hull more easily, I feel.

| They've a long way to go consistency wise before we can start to make sweeping statements like that. They were pretty awful in that first half. No doubt that if they click, Briers gets room and we dominate.
Need King and Hicks back for Wigan.. hopefully they just picked up knocks in training.. King perhaps suffered with his calf again (like at Fev)?

Same, but a wins a win so just relieved we came away with the two points against an injury ravaged Hull.

I agree. Maybe it's just my opinion on what a 'good hit' is, but that one by King on Landerson I think it was, was nothing special. Yet Stevo and Eddie were like 'cracking hit!' etc.

| Good win, without Hicks, King and Johnson missing from our backline. We coped well enough and got the win.
Well done to Che for sending a rocket up their bottoms, and it was a shame that [ibad[/i Monaghan turned up, hopefully [igood[/i Monaghan is back next week.
Higham, Moz and Mather were excellent 2nd half.
Briers' kicking second half was also clinical, forcing a few drop-outs and but them on the backfoot a few times. Very very important in helping us come out with a victory.

| Great second half performance after a first half of silly pemalties and mistakes.
Thought Morley and Carvell were fantastic.
Mathers improved as the game went on and may prove to be a good signing.
Higham gave us some nice go forward.
Harrison worked incredibly hard.
Was impressed with Clarke (probably get shot on here for saying that)
Monaghan had a stinker
L Anderson tried but made some silly errors, as did Rauhihi
Briers seemed average, never really controlled things.
All in all it was nice to see a Warrington team come out and dominate the second half. Despite being behind the team did seem to have confidence in themselves.

| Bridge was wasted out on the wing, I know someone will say he was at fullback, he didn't play in that roll as I saw it.
We need Briers at 7 and Bridge at 6 and Monas on a plane, Or at the very least he needs another crack on the head.
Monas game improved out of sight when he clashed heads with Harrison. It must have worn off now. He was soooo poor.
Monas not done himself too many favours today, he was on the sky shop window and blew it.

Monas was poor yesterday but Bridge has yet to prove himself at 6. The backs had a major reshuffle with three men out so it was a very temporary
measure to have Bridge named as fullback and Mathers on the wing . In any case, as the game wore on you could see that Bridge, Mathers and Vanderson were changing roles depending on the situation.
