Strangely Warrington didn't 'grind' out our last two SF wins. Far from it. We are by far the most entertaining team in SL and quite frankly I wouldn't have it any other way.

What did Sam do wrong yesterday may I ask? I saw no acting from Sam. He's definately growing into the full back roll in defence but who wouldn't with Radlinski and Hampson in the coaching team.

Thought it was an entertaining game myself, would much rather see a close encounter than a 60-0 thrashing.

Also the Saints fans singing 'Swing Low, Sweet Chariot' when Wigan went for two points displayed a wit rarely shown by RL fans. Funny when their own team decided to do the same shortly after though.

The empty seats were embarrassing though.

Well, I thought Wigan's defence was fantastic, and it layed the foundations early on.

For example, if Saints would of scored during the 10 minutes they were on Wigan's line - cleary it would of been a different game.

A team with a good attack would not have had that many sets in an oppositions 30 and not come away with points... especially with their right hand side of Deacon, Tomkins and Charnley.

If Wigan performed like that against a good NRL team would have been over by half time.

Think he's got a point, Your right it was fantastic defence, but Saints attack was dire until the last 10 mins, i bet we would of scored a few times with all that pressure.

Possibly, it could be a bit of both, however it was more awesome defense than clueless attack. Saints weren't actually that bad in attack apart from Meli who is crap at centre and also a couple of daft last tackle decisions. Wigan's defence layed the foundations.

Admittedly, there's a massive difference in our left to right side wing defence, but the team as a whole defended out of their skins yesterday.

If you can limit a team to 12 points nowadays, you're most probably going to win.

Saint George after flying half way around the world, not having any competative games beforehand, players being half interested, still managed to beat you comfortably enough, not conceding a point second half if I remember correctly.

Agree was more Wigan's defence, I was impressed with amount of work O'loughlin did in defence, he has to be starting loose for England .

Still don't rate Pryce at 6 think he would be a better centre, Roby wasn't running like he usually does maybe because of the pace of Wigan's defence, thought Saints should of used the inside ball more though.

Yet you said they'd have had us beaten by half time, when they were actually losing. They did well in the second half though, not conceding a point was a testament to their awesome defense, wasn't it? Or did you find that boring?

No Saints attack was just clueless, they have to much brawn and not enough brains, they desprately need a replacement for Sean long because Roby, Pryce, Wellens, Lomax seemed very clueless yesterday.

Its a shame because Saints have a very good pack, which even with an injured James Graham and Roby more than matched Wigans.

No you didn't... I said If Wigan perfomed like they did against Saints, gave the opposition that much ball and repeat sets in their 30 metre zone, a good aussie team would have finished that game before half time.
