Whilst I agree being picked up on grammar can be tedious and embarrassing for the recipient, it does not necessarily mean those who do it have no life. Just as it would be equally inaccurate to accuse those with poor grammar as being dim witted.

Looking at it another way, we can all be grateful for the free education which will can only improve usage of the mother tongue.

I for one find the 'as' for the verb 'to have' to be quite amusing.
