I was originally going to contribute to this thread by agreeing what a good season Carvell is having. In particular last night's performance. But when I saw a poster attempting to mock Lima's ability I responded to that instead.

From what I have seen of Lima, I would say he is solid. Cite all the stats in the world, I go by what I see.

Paul Woods stats are unreal. I think he goes under the radar due to the level of consistency he has found.

Woody's match up well to James Graham. Tak into account how much longer Graham is on the pitch for, I think Woodys show alot of hard graft. I expected Graham to do alot more defensively in all honesty.

Carvells been outstanding, Huby wasn't far behind either before his injury.

Another great Wire home grown talent along with Briers, Myler and Morley good to see a club with so many local lads!

Came through our youth system you bellend. I know he's from Wigan, but far more local to Warrington than the Tomkins sisters are to Wigan.

I didn't realise that there was some kind of pre-requisite, that our players had to be born within a 5 mile radius of market gate.

Must admit: if I were a Wigan fan, I'd find it hard to find a reason to.

Carvell is a good player, but not even the best prop in your team let alone the league. Paul Wood has been quality whenever I've seen him, just head down, gets the job done over and over again.

And for someone mentioning Lima, yup, fair enough, he does get smashed about a bit. But he doesn't half work hard.

Carvell has been very consistent this year as has Woody....and Gaz was the best prop on the pitch last night...despite having to play virtually the whole match. There is still a long way to go...but if Carvell puts in stints like last nights every week then he will have every right to call himself the best prop in the league.

Last night he was superb, and has been for a few weeks.

Graham is probably the best prop in SL, but as a quartet I'm more than happy with Moz, Gaz, Wood, Harrison.
