| Personally I reckon Catalans away is a more important game than many are giving it credit for. I think many people expect us to lose and are to a degree prepared to settle for second knowing that it doesn't make a great difference finishing second or first when the play offs start.
However, our last three games are all very difficult. Catalans away and Wigan at home speak for themselves, but since when was Hull away an easy fixture, especially if they're playing for a top eight spot? Lose all three and we could conceiveably lose second spot to Saints as well as enter the play offs in shocking form. Beat Wakefield on Sunday and then beat Catalans to secure top two as quickly as possible and push for first.
Write the Catalans game off as many seem to be and it could cost us dearly.

| If we get to a stage against Wigan still one point down going into the game I would love to stuff them to go top, no doubt they will be milking the CC win for all its worth.

| I think it'll be Wigan finishing top, as it is now, by the 1 point. I think Warrington will lose out in Perpignan, but beat Wigan at the HJ.
It would be brilliant if Crusaders beat Wigan at the DW though to lose them the league last game of the season and for us to leave Super League on a massive high that's if we have a side to field...

Agreed. We are capable of beating anybody on our day. We shouldn't fear the Catalans game, okay we don't have the greatest record there however we only suffered a narrow defeat there last year did we not?
The fact that Catalans have done the double over Wigan and beaten the likes of Huddersfield, ourselves and Leeds this year shouldn't be forgotten, however nor the should the fact that they were beaten quite convincingly by Salford at home and also Quins put 20 odd past them at their place.

And that was all down to complacency really, as Crusaders beat them the weekend before out in Perpignan. Catalans defence isn't the best by no means and with Wire having the best attack in the league, you could be right. The weather is the biggest factor for me. Playing in mid-August when its out in its hottest. Rugby League players are fit, but will they be able to cope for the full 80 when Catalans are used to this heat and adapt to it very well? First 20 minutes of the game is crucial. Need to make sure you complete sets, keep your discipline and hopefully get some points on the board.

Very good point - must confess I didn't really consider the Hull FC as much as perhaps I should. You're right, if they're playing for a top 8 spot, there should be a really big crowd, intimidating atmosphere and a very physical hard game.

| I think it would be a fitting end to the regular season if there is only one point in it when Wigan and Wire meet. That game would be huge with the winner effectively taking the League Leaders Shield.

Don't think its that much of an ask to beat Catalan and Hull.
Think the lads will have abit of a point to prove to both teams as well.

Catalan is a hard game. Only just outside the top 4, they are the home side and they've already beaten us twice and you at home.
I think you will win but I doubt it will be an easy game (he says, awaiting to be quoted after a 40 point margin)

I always find it amusing when people talk about fans expectations somehow affecting the results. If the coaching staff and players prepare properly - and there is no reason to expect otherwise given the club's desire to get to OT - then whatever a few fans say on here won't make the slightest bit of difference!

| Madge wants the treble. The players will play at Wembley HOPEFULLY win the cup and celebrate Saturday night before traveling home Sunday doing the bus tour (which they may even postpone) and then start training on the Monday ready for the Wire game.
Yes you may still beat us but it will be far from easy.

| Think we are all a little shell shocked form the CC QF to be honest, I think we will win 3 of our 4 remaining games but have a sneaky feeling that Hull will turn us over (I hope im wrong)
Catalans away isnt a good one but i think we will be up for it and maybe we will have Briers back so a good fresh set of ideas that's not been seem for a while will do, if not stick with Grix and blitz em I say.
Wakey worries me as we still seem to be a bit complacent (aka Salford)
Wigan we'll be up for and I think we will have learnt from the QF, BUT it wont be easy!!
Come on the Wire up top where we belong!!

| If we beat Wakefield and Catalan, I'll think we'll do Wigan. If we go into the Wigan game 3 points behind them, it's over - can't see us winning our last 2 and them winning their last 2. Similarly, if top spot is in our hands when we travel to Hull, we'll eviscerate them. I can see us dropping that game if the result doesn't help us one way or t'other.
This weekend is likely to be our last stress free game of the season - offence intended Wakefield. After this it's all difficult games against good teams with lots at stake.
Can't wait.
