Waterhouse is a super player, but I'd prefer to keep Louis as he's younger and is getting better all the time.
We'd only get a year or 2 out of Waterhouse.

I would be disappointed if we could not fill a second row position from our own pool of players. I could understand it if Solomona and Anderson go then yeah we might have to look to Australia for one of those replacements. I would like to think that Mitchel, McArthy and Blythe may be able to fill a void on a more regular basis.

As long as we always replace like for like or better and compete every season i don't care if we get 1 season or 5 seasons out of players, just put the effort in, in the here and now.

Mark, I heard they were eyeing him up as a replacemet for Puletua, but now Puletua has signed an extension they don't require any more back-rowers and don't have a free quota spot.

However long he is here for Trent Waterhouse will be the best backrower in our team if he comes, that includes Westwood, so I would have him.

I agree, waterhouse is pure quality and will not only be the best backrow at Warrington but the best backrow in super league.

We've signed laffranchi who's a very good player but IMO waterhouse is better.

We still need to replace Carvell.

I don't think Ratchford would be brought in to replace Evans. Can't say I've watched him every week but whenever I've seen Ratchford he has looked very good, at least as good as Bridge.

Waterhouse would be a decent signing, and Stefan Ratchford from what I've seen of him seems to have the sort of flair that most British backs lack. From within the Super League he would be one of the main candidates to replace Briers. Obviously prefer someone like Benji Marshall, but not sure we'll be able to attract that sort of player at this stage in their career.

we just signed a current Australian internation, regardless of scrotum related incidents, he was coming here next year anyway.

I'm sure Bert would put a good word in with Benji for us.

With all respect to Dogtanian, Benji is a different class of player. Him plying his trade over here at the height of his career would be the biggest overseas signing since the inception of Super League, and would surely see sellout crowds at the HJ every week.

Louis is out of contract so it's not just a case of us keeping him; he might want a fresh challenge/some sun. Waterhouse is about as good as we'll get.

Ratchford will give us even more flexibility across the backline - can play any of the three quarters and half back.

Louis Anderson linked with us, think he will end up going Catalan however.

Louis' a quality player, if he does go to Leeds you have a decent player.
