| I'll agree with you on Chris Hill as he was a bloody idiot and I've had enough of him, great player but would happily see him leave. Other than that I thought we did little wrong. Even our supposed high shots looked very dubious.

LMS is a plonker but you won't get saints fans arguing that or defending him when he gets it wrong or crosses a boundary.
But then he is not the club captain either, he's a motivated and over exuberant nutter.

Warrington were just as bad as Catalans, you probably lost the penalty count in that game. LMS is your pantomime villian, he high fives, beats his chest and celebrates everything, but he's a world away from Hill.

Equal to Hill or worse you need your head shaking. LMS is just a drama queen but he's not in the same ball park as Hill, LMS is also pretty disciplined only given 3 penalties away this season where as Hill is almost 5 times as worse with around 14 penalties this season so far and climbing. You need a captain with composure these days and Hill is the opposite of that, Ratchford should be given that job.

Super League and the RFL are to launch an investigation into the ugly scenes that marred the end of Saturday’s clash between Catalans Dragons and Warrington in Perpignan.
Tempers boiled over in the stands at full-time, with fans throwing punches and trying to climb over barriers to get to each other at the Stade Gilbert Brutus.
Catalans duo Sam Tomkins and Michael McIlorum saw red after the match for their role in an on-field fracas. Warrington’s Jake Mamo also received a second yellow card in the incident.
“We were appalled to see the pictures from Perpignan, and an investigation will be launched,” read a joint statement from Super League and the RFL. “The scenes are alien to Super League and have no place in our game. We will be taking firm action to make it clear this behaviour is totally unacceptable.”
A Warrington statement explained that the club is “working in conjunction with Catalans Dragons and Super League to gather further information”, while Bernard Guasch, the Catalans chairman, said: “We are now waiting for the CCTV footage before making any decision.”
Warrington’s statement added: “We sincerely believe that this behaviour does not reflect the vast majority of our loyal and supportive fan base following the team in France this weekend.”
Man of the match Tomkins had created three tries and kicked seven goals before being sent off as Catalans claimed a 30-10 victory that ended Warrington’s hopes of claiming the League Leaders’ Shield, which has now been won by St Helens.
“We’ve always had good challenges against Catalans every time we play them,” said Warrington coach Steve Price. “It was really disappointing how the game finished –you don’t like to see that, do you?”
When asked whether he thought events on the pitch had influenced those off it, Price responded have come about, but it’s disgraceful scenes that we don’t want to see in our sport and I’m sure, again, the relevant people will look into that and find out. I just sincerely hope that no one is hurt from that because it didn’t look good.”
McNamara did, however, hit back at a suggestion from Price that his side had deliberately slowed the game down. “I’m sick and tired of every time a team comes here and complains about the tactics and how tough it is and how difficult it is,” he said.
“The best team won today and the best team won by a long way in the end and that result was correct. Nothing to do with anything other than the better team won on the day, simple as that.”

WIRE IN THE BLOOD Warrington Wolves and Catalans Dragons fans involved in shock brawl with yobs climbing into sponsors’ area to get at each other
A SHOCKING fight broke out on and off the pitch during Warrington Wolves' Super League loss at Catalans Dragon on Saturday.
Fans were pictured climbing into hospitality areas in an attempt to throw punches at each-other
It is unknown exactly what prompted the spectators to come to blows but it came amid a furious melee amongst the players.
A number of incidents in quick succession came with Catalans leading 30-10 in the dying stages.
Warrington were penalised for dissent after a knock-on call and the French team committed two high tackle fouls in as many minutes.
The second earned Michael McIlorum a red card and set in motion a huge scrap on the pitch.
Fellow Dragons star Sam Tomkins was also dismissed, as was Wolves man Jake Mamo for a second yellow card, as players squared up to eachother and jumped into the sea of flailing limbs.
As referee James Child took a backseat and eventually began disciplining the group, a fight in the stands of the Perpignan club broke out.
Glimpses of the ugly scenes were caught by TV cameras as supporters targeted a sponsors area, lashing out while leaping over barriers with a table spotted being hurled in the background.
Both clubs quickly came out to condemn the violence, Catalans chairman Bernard Guasch expressing his surprise at the incident inside his team's Stade Gilbert Brutus.
He said has always been a festive place and we are saddened with the scenes we saw tonight.
"We have never witnessed such incidents in 13 years in the Super League. We are now waiting for the CCTV footage before making any decision.”
Likewise Warrington, who can now only finish second after their defeat confirmed St Helens' position as League Leaders' Shield winners, expressed their shock.
A club statement read: "Warrington Wolves are deeply disappointed with the incidents at the conclusion of tonight’s fixture at the Stade Gilbert Brutus.
"The club is working in conjunction with Catalans Dragons and Super League to gather further information, and determine the appropriate action required.
"The club does not condone this behaviour & strongly believes that scenes like this have no place in our sport.
"We sincerely believe that this behaviour does not reflect the vast majority of our loyal & supportive fanbase following the team in France this weekend."
A joint statement from the Rugby Football League and Super League echoed the condemnation.
It read: "The scenes are alien to Super League and have no place in our game. We will be taking firm action to make it clear this behaviour is totally unacceptable."
Catalans boss Steve McNamara dismissed criticism of his side's tactics, accused by opposite number Steve Price of frustrating the game, but was also left lamenting how referee Child took charge.
He said: "I'm clearly not happy with the whole of the game in terms of how it was managed. After the game I will take that up with the relevant people."

| We have some terrible fans, mostly young kids beered up who think they’re hard, both teams should be fined, Catalans seem to have contributed also but not one single post from
any fan on their board.
As it pertains to the team, we are not as good as we think we are. We struggle in opposing twenties due to lack of creativity and having to rely on individual brilliance.

| Any Warrington fan proved to be clambering up into that sponsors area needs to be banned for life. They were not "protecting their families" they were looking for trouble. As can be seen on the videos most sensible Wire fans were walking away or staying out of it.

| Apologies if I'm reading this wrong the day after the game it's 30 odd degrees and I've got a dodgy Internet connection.... But speaking as someone on the second row of the little uncovered stand I saw house tactics on a level I've never seen before and I saw Wigan under mcguire...
Knees to the heads fists to the head... by ing Tony Gigot aswell... I bet he never even knew how to throw a punch 12 months ago... Little kicks to the heads.. Late shots on ball passers... And obviously punches... And a kelvin skerret style superman brawl entry.... Which was deemed "okay" by the ref.... The high tackles I don't really care about they happen every game....
It was just an all out disgraceful performance by catalan dragons.
We know James child is inept we know Sam Tomkins is a snake and spiteful human as is mcClorum. So it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone how that game turned out..
What is a surprise is the Chris Hill is getting
And off the unsiprsing returned Saints fan aswell....
He must have spoke to the ref half the times Tomkins did... And when he swore... From the clip I saw he wanted to go and check on his wife and kids..... When the Salford players waded in with fists flying a few years ago In similar circumstances it was allowed and widely applauded but oh Chris Hill speaking and a swearing.. What a disgrace....
You jokers...
Anyway I need to get in the shade before I freak out.....

| Chris Hill is always answering back to the referee like a belligerent child and loses his head when composure is needed when the stakes are highest. I have not seen him influence a referee positively, it's always just reactionary emotional outbursts. Take into account the decline of his form since appointment and abysmal finals record as Captain I am struggling to make a case of the continued captaincy.

| Jon Wilkin has been arguing with refs for years but guess that doesn't fit Saddened's narrative.
Funny how Hill is being made out to be the bad man yet nothing said over Mcilorum kneeing Clark in the head whisky he was on the floor. You do that over here on the streets and it's classed as assault.

I think most of us feel this way, I'd have cooper as captain myself, widdop will do as well. Serious question, if hill can't sort his discipline should he be kept? He will be expensive for a prop and let's us down all the time. I do think he plays and behaves much better without the armband though.

| 17 pages and I’ve barely seen a mention of that cretin Kenny Edwards. An absolute disgrace of a man and one that the RFL needs to take action against. Trouble in the stands, players from both sides trying to calm them down, yet he’s on the bounce after another a scrap and trying to incite further trouble off the field.
Thug shouldn’t be allowed near a Super League pitch again.
