I was out with a current players relative last week. He told me that the players were up at 3 in the morning to go to Perpignan. Apparently our sponsors were on the same flight and we wanted to give them the full day in Perpignan.

Salford were amazing, plain and simple. None of this we tired them out rubbish, Salford just completely shut them down and played some unreal rugby. Well done Salford absoutely amazing tonight

I’m going to watch the recording of the game after this Or Thane. Just got back from Liverpool after a few pints. On the bus replacement service to central I had a look on sky sports for the rl- wow! Huddersfield were excellent last night as well. Their defence was the best I’ve seen from any sl side live on sky- relentless, hard, no nonsense tackling throughout the duration of the game.

It’s good to see two unfancied sides absolutely blast it. Could Wigan go down? There’s no easy fixtures.

Some of Salfords tries were unreal, complete team performance. Passes were being thrown before looking as they knew support would be there, really phenomenal tries and an unreal performance


And yeah people are complaining about the Wigan v Hudds game but what an absolutely brutal game of Rugby. Wigans gonna have some very bruised and battered players this week as will Huddersfield. 3 awesome Sky games this week

So apparently now Ian Watson is the best coach in the British game(according to some on the pie forum anyway). Are people forgetting the hiding they got off an abysmal Leeds side a few weeks back? They've got a top drawer nrl half back and some pace out wide. Great win yesterday, but I cant see them troubling the top 5.

Cheers mate. It's fairly standard for most team's fans (not all) to decry any sort of Salford win so nice to see when a team is given due credit. Watson is doing a fantastic job and that's one of the best Salford performances I've seen in decades. A lot of those signings were laughed at (Dudson, Burke, Turgut) but they've been superb and I think to a man they're enjoying proving a few people wrong!

Will we win anything? Very unlikely, but a decent cup run could be on. But then again supporting Salford isn't about the trophies and the glory it's about enjoying wins like yesterday and completely forgetting years and years of utter mediocrity!

It is always better to have a wider spread of teams being able to compete & cause upsets to the results. I am sure the bookmakers would like a change too. Good to see Wakey back on their horse too.

Indeed. Really like watching Wakey and still don't think they get the credit they deserve tbh. Shows what good coaching and recruitment can do rather than just throwing cash at big names (as we've been guilty of in the past). Would love to see a Super League where results are unpredictable instead of people looking at London, Salford, Hudds etc as a guaranteed 4 points a season

Just shows how biased some of these people are that makes these desicions, it's wrong. It's like one rule for one and one for another
