In my 20 odd years of watching rugby league i can honestly say I've only experienced probably 8 instances of crowd trouble. . The problem was that 4 of those involved both hull clubs. .had a few nasty things thrown at us at craven park in 96 but the events surrounding the title decider at the boulevard in 98 were the worst I've ever experienced, indeed lots of huddersfield fans vowed never to set foot in hull again, some of them still haven't and its only the last 2 or 3 games we've taken anything like decent support over there.I've never had any problems at the kc but i remember that awful day at the boulevard it was frightening, i hope these instances of problems with supporters disappear pretty quickly as its not a nice thing to be involved in

all studies are different though. I remember St Helens being number 1 a couple of years back for the worst town in Britain.

Hull Fans. If you're scared for your own and siblings' safety, then sorry, you reap what you sow. Is it any wonder your lot get stick when you come to Warrington after the grief warrington fans have had to put up with down your neck of the woods down the years?

back to the main gist of this thread. Warrington fans should be in no position to be moaning at other supporters for bad language and other "hoolie" behaviour.

I am sorry, you really shouldn't be shocked that other fans behave in this manner in their own back yard. Would you be shocked if you were watching a football match at the Den v millwall and their fans started giving it the merchant banker hand signals and throwing missiles at your coach. no you wouldn't. Hull speccies have form for it and so do we.

In a perfect world, this sort of behaviour would be a thing of the past, but it isn't. There always be a "tool" element amongst every clubs support. You've just gotta get on and deal with it.

It is in the past compared to what it is used to be. Lets be honest beer at a sporting evert you will get minor incidents which we all get but we never get anything large. The problem is we used to be self policed in the 90's. People caused problems they were told or leathered now its accepted and allowed.

In the popular stand at Wigan anyone giving mouth to women and children would have been stripped and passed overhead by all now they just are moaned about, its just a shift in society.
