If Williams is in contract till 2018 we can not approach him. If we do approach him it, would be about an immediate transfer and this would then involve Wigan deciding how much they want for him. If it has become clear that Warrington want him and he wants to leave then Wigan would spit the dummy out and go to the League for an illegal approach. Which one is it Duckie??

Last year him and Patton looked ok, the Catalan game away Patton controlled the game and we looked good with a weakened side.

I would go with Gids at full back, Ratchford 6 and Patton 7. If it doesn't work, we have a space on the cap to bring in another half back.

Well if Ratch and Dec are out for a few weeks at the start of the season let's hope Gidley and Smith are fit and remain so (unless Westerman is used).

It'll be an indifferent start for us next year I think but I'm not too concerned at that.

Not sure how we go about recruiting because most decent halves will want a 2 year contract minimum.
It'd be a push for Dec to be in week in week out but 2018 would be a different matter.
