Should we start the "debate" now about playing games at larger stadiums as its the semi-final and we should be looking for at least 15-18k at each one?
Of course prices should be really cheap as well, its only a semi-final and not a proper league game.

That's what I was thinking. Our last two semi finals have been played at Widnes, which is about 8 miles from the HJ. I think this year, we'll be up over the dark side of the pennines.

Odsal is a dump and not fit to hold a Semi final. There are new grounds that should be used with excellent facilities for supporters.

Bearing in mind that ourselves and Wigan couldn't sell out the Stobart a couple of years ago I would think that Langtree park is way too big for our semi. I'd be surprised if the semis are anywhere other than Galpharm and Salford.

I don't know which venue we will be at but I think TS will ask that we play on the Sunday given we play Catalan at the HJ on the previous Monday.

As to the venue, the City of Salford makes the most sense for both sets of supporters

St Albans Centurians? That's only down the road from me, might show my face for that.

Agree in terms of capacity (12 k?) and comparative ease from Hudds along M62/60, but, having been on a corporate watching Salford v Leeds, the layout of the ground isn't ideal IMO. Although the main stand is impressive, the ends are quite small with some complaints about restrictive views low down.

Also local pubs for a pre match snifter are a bit of a stroll and turning up last minute to stand behind the sticks won't be a good idea.

Nit picking I know, but if it is there, I will go for a reserved seat in main stand if poss

It's a little further my biking legs aren't that good yet mate.

Leigh or Salford would be my guess for our game, neither are too far away for Huddersfield.

They have used Donaster before, that could have an outiside chance.
