What would be a acceptable cash bid? £125k perhaps? given he's still only 28 and a current international, plus Wigan seem desperate for a centre.

As it's to a rival, £200k I think. I'm glad they said no to the swap deal, although if it had been Tomkins and Goulding, I would have jumped on it.

No win bonuses in Gleesons contract then, or any bonuses at all for that matter.

If Gleeson is on £150k with us, I can't see him signing for Wigan for less than that. In fact, I can't think of any international player who would move to a new club and take a pay cut.

As for Goulding on £60k. Either Cadoo is using the mattkingwageulator or Wigan are overpaying their youngsters. Mathers on £60k would be about right. He's not worth that, but he thinks he is

Im not worried in the slightest Mathers is an out and out full back not a winger a centre or a reserve player a first team full back and we need one....

Cas are riding high and he is one of the main reasons, can't see that deal happening, be happy if it did tho.
