Yes, he always looked a bit pigeon chested to me. Rhys Williams reminds of him, same sort of build.

| Remember replacing Allan Bareman with Andy Currier.
Currier was at the end of his career and garbage for us.
How about Dave King at prop.... came over for the holiday.
Don't buy the cheap shots on Mike Wainwright on p1 of this thread.
We also had Martin Dermott for a few games if I remember rightly...... very poor
Rodwell was never fully fit if I remember rightly.

| Rocket had a bad groin injury, came over as a favour to Anderson.
Dave king was a 2nd row being mis used as a prop, he wasn't bad when xe put him in the back row, running out wide.
Oh, and his trip, war only from huddersfield

Here here, glad someone mentioned him! I was so giddy when we signed him to link up with Langer, the old Brisbane partnership!
How disappointed I was to see a Jonny Vegas lookalike, utter pants and waste of time and certainly biggest disappointment

| Georgiallis was a decent player, he got a bad injury though.
Dermott was an odd one, signed for us whilst the current GB hooker but looks like we got sold a pup by wigan.

| Winds me up when people put Tukere Barlow in these lists. Ok, he was not another Duane Mann, but that wasn't his fault. A decent player who actually scored on his debut when it had taken thursfield about two years to register a try. If you were watching the wire when barlow played then you surely must've seen the hooker we had a few years later. Step forward Mr. Kris Watson. Has anyone even mentioned him yet?

what a post even today at 44 years of Age Walters looks nothing like a fat =#FF0040PLEASE DON'T USE THAT TERM AGAIN, IT IS NOT WELCOME ON RLFANS from St Helens. Like I said a few pages back the bloke came over to England just over a couple of years after his Wife had died of Cancer leaving him bringing up three young boys. I can fully understand Why he decided he wanted to go back home after one Game......
if you judge the qualities of a former Brisbane, Queensland, and Australia Legend after his first game in England then I would imagine only Allan Langer would have lasted more than one game for Wires, how many Overseas players have had sparkling debuts....???
Walters decided it wasnt for him and went home thats fair enough at least he turned up unlike Campion and at least he didnt rob us for a season like Steve Roach, and at least he wasnt crap for two seasons flicking the bird to our fans like Matt king......

| Don't know if it's been brought up before (not trawlling thru 12 pages again), but the 3 "dobbers" that Reggie Bowden brought from Fulham
Hussein M'Barki
Steve Diamond
Dave Allen (might as well have signed the comedian in the 3 piece suit, whisky and missing fingers).
They were 5h1t3
(again, cba checking thru 12 pages) Francis Maloney. Lots of talent, but a TOTAL WASTE OF SPACE in a Wire jersey.
In THAT 34-0 home ####ing by Wigan on Easter Monday 1995 (sticks in the throat more than the Stains 80 niller), I remember Davies giving him a verbal ####ing for not even attempting a tackle on a Wigan player.
A waste of a decent talent, but was always in the shadow of pooh-house Harris, throughout their careers (they started at the same time, iirc)

| Tony Tatupu; had an abundance of ability. Unfortunately, his application was the polar opposite.
Pointless signings: Doc Murray, Antony Swann, Martin Dermot (knees shot), Kris Watson.
Those caning Neil Parsley, etc, seem to have forgotten the state we were in at the time of theses signings. Shit creek wouldn't come close.

Reggie Bowden also signed Bob Jackson from Fulham. One of the Wire all time greats.

Correct, xe didn't spend much on the 4 other signings xe made that year, the bloke from Salford, and 3 other blokes, that alien looking fella, the bloke who fights. And the prop who thought he was a stand off

| For me, David Kidwell must be up there with the worst signings. The guy had the ability, as proven by his subsequent NRL appearances. But his showing for us was shocking.
As The Flying Biscuit says, Matt King was dire for his first 18 months/2 years. But pulled it back when Tony Smith arrived..... Which just shows how important a coach is. Could Sullivan have been as good as Monaghan at hooker if Smith was coaching him??????
Anyway, I don't think I'll ever see a worse half back at Wire as Tom O'Reilly. Truley shocking that he made the first team.
