I'm ashamed to say i did not think we could win this, as much as i love our club and had hopes we would turn them over and win. I just couldn't see it after 5 losses and saints on fire i just couldn't see it. But i'm so proud of the boys and i'm over the moon and this has just topped everything nicely. Eating massive humble pie today.

You could say that about any team in any sport in any final. You make it sound like that is the only way Warrington could win if you didn't play well. Wire can beat anyone on their day. It's not just a case of a few individual errors. They completely bossed you in the forwards and the coach got it tactically spot on. No rub of the green today. A well executed game plan that showed all the faults in Saints' team. Same as last year. Saints fans shouting how great they are before the season actually ends. I have seen people saying on Redvee that Saints have been easily the best side for 2 years. Well Wigan are champions and Catalans and now Warrington are CC holders. Like Cas and Huddersfield before you, it means nothing with an empty major trophy cabinet. Teams have learned to pace the season for the Grand Final run in. We (Wigan) are the absolute benchmark for that, taking the mantle over from Leeds.

Well done Wire! As I’ve said all year you have the best front 3 in the league. Total dominance today regardless of what anybody tries to say different. Disappointed in Holbrook “no sour grapes but we scored a try that was disallowed and one of theirs was a knock on!” Come on Justin you should be used to losing big games by now!! Pity Widnes let Cheshire down!! Been a great weekend and had a fantastic time with some top Saints fans and they’re taking today really well. All clubs have good fans!!

I was there yesterday as the girlfriend is a Wire. For the first 20 or so minutes I was expecting Saints to get over for a try but defense kept you in the game.

From the minute Philbin spotted the gap and went over Wire had a foothold in the game and by the end were deserved winners.

Some excellent performances but Daryl Clark the right call as MOTM.
