In terms of outdoor stuff I can heartily recommend Crocky Trail www.crockytrail.co.uk/. It lets your kids be kids again, taking risks, getting filthy and exercise too.

There's something similar at the back of Riverside retail park also there's another next door to L.A Bowl which i believe does extremely well and makes a fortune.

Go Ape is also very good but im not sure if there's any age restrictions, Splash landings at Alton Towers maybe.

First of all, many thanks to the poster who campaigned to get this thread reinstated after it was inexplicably locked.

Secondly, I was not dismissive of peoples suggestions, I think i went on record thanking people in fact, I was merely pointing out that due to my kids ages some of the suggestions may not have been suitable. I was also hoping for further suggestions that may be more suitable.

Again thanks to those you have shown genuine interest and offered suggestions, however i am still searching for somewhere.

Laser Quest & 147, use your kid as a rest, that's what I do.

TBH my 3 year old loved the Museum of Science and Industry. parking is on site and it is free. He particularly liked the very top floor - has an interactive area (think it is called Xperience or something) - spent ages in there. Defo good if raining.

Stockley Farm is good if weather not too bad - has indoor areas as well as outdoor.
I am told Splashdown in Southport is good too.

Splashworld in Southport is really good, and once your done there, there is always plenty around and about Southport to entertain the kids.

You know we should do that. Have a laser quest night between the clique, mods and undesirables. Can't be any more childish than the argument we have on here

Depends on how far you want to travel. I have a 2 and 3 year old and they love Eureka at halifax for an indoor day. Just past the Shay it is.
Just back about an hour or so ago from an exhausting day out at Thomas land where in the school time they do a adult and toddler ticket for £15. Big indoor play area, all the rides including river rapids where they let the kids on, Zoo aswell.
Also Farmer teds at Ormskirk is a real bargain and good day aswell.
