Even as a Wiganer I've been known to cross the great divide to visit this place. Top class.

| Went to the Grill tonight with the lass on GDMM's recommendation. Very good. 8.5/10.
Lobster Bisque
12 Oz Fillet with Béarnaise
Washed down with an ice cold Chablis and a Cruzcampo.
Table cloths and cotton napkins would be welcome. And fillet was medium not rare bit of a let down for 25 quid to get that wrong. Minor grumble. Superb service. Thinking about the New Years Eve thing there. A welcome surprise in Warrington.

Don't get me started on the quality/quantity of restaurants for a town of its size.
It's not the greatest place in the World, but it shines like a beacon in Warrington.

| We've been to La Boheme in Lymm a couple of times in the last month after a recommendation. I would definitely recommend this restaurant myself.
Food was lovely both times.
Also went to the Miller and Carter steakhouse in Parbold with friends. Well worth a visit!

| Neither actually IN Warry tho, which is kind of the point. It's a shame Marshalls didn't last longer, the food was great, but it seems you can only survive in this town if you're one of those hideous 2 for £5 pubs. Unless eating at GOTS, the only choice is to go at least as far as Stockton Heath.

| There is one above Wilkies Tavern which is nice, took our parents there for mothers day. Also the one on Vicky Park is meant to be nice as well. Never been though!

| My mate went to the one on Victoria Park - they ran out of booze and could only give them liqueurs with their meal <vom> as a result of this experience, I have NO desire to go there; I have no patience with crap service at the best of times.
Where is Wilkie's Tavern? <notlocal>

I have visited Spirit once, with no desire to return. White Apron is a good shout, but the menu never seems to change. Wilkies/White Apron is at the bottom of Church Street.

| I am now struggling for places, other than in Stockton Heath. Another one I have had nice meals at were Ariete in Newton Le Willows.
Not a restaurant but we went to the Fir Grove for one Valentines Night and the food was brilliant, since then we decided to have our Wedding Reception there which incidentally takes place this weekend!

Tom @ 101 still is the best for me, easy to rack up a bill though.

| Congratulations!!! ) Hope it stays fine for you
I won't eat in Mojo or Cotton Mill - owned by that bloke who ripped off all his shopfitters before declaring bankrupt. Cafe Caruso is nice for lunch, but can't imagine an evening meal in there.
Pan y Vino in SH is my current favourite, though I do love the Turkish place as well.

| I thought the Thai was poor but I'd just been to Chaophraya (sp??) in Liverpool One, which was dear, but utterly utterly divine - just incredible. That's a VERY long way to go for your tea, though

If you like Thai, I can recommend Koh Samui in Manchester. There is a belting Korean restaurant, Koreana, down the side of Kendals.
