On last week's performance we'd win them all, on last night's we'll loose them all.

You joking? Warrington were very poor against Leeds who weren’t great themselves. You look no better than last year even if it’s only two games in.

I'd seen enough with a structured defence in the 1st 40 vs Leeds and in attack crossing the line 5 times and almost doing enough to win the game in the 2nd 40, to galvanise my post of thought.

Leeds are peaked ahead of their wwc already. Wire have plenty scope for improvement.

Hull KR ran Leeds away close so I wouldn’t read our defeat at home to them as all that but on the topic i’ll go for 1 scrappy win either against Widnes or Cats.Forget the rest.

5 wins, 3 through Ratchford hat tricks, 2 through Russell hat tricks.

On our day we can beat them all, but we don't have many days. I think 2 wins and a couple of heavy defeats. No leaders, no performance. We could easily lose them all playing like last night.

You don't seemed to have understood the intensity of our first game. It was hard for both Wire and Leeds who both fatigued.
We struggled away at Huddersfield who had an easier game because they got pasted as did Leeds vs Hull kr. Getting a thrashing doesn't mean you had a hard game...it means you are far weaker than the opposition...so the answer to the question is...why?

When your betting in depth you can't just follow a score and say that's the form...you have to take stock of the reasons behind it....it's not so simple as drawing a line through one score to say this will happen...if it was that simple, in a horse handicap race, every horse should finish the race in a dead heat...

I'm expecting Castleford vs Widnes and Cats vs Saints be a humdingers because all 4 teams had very easy games...2 in defeat and 2 in a win.

....so if what I predict Widnes to be a humdinger...I expect Wire to thrash them in the next round.

Don’t see Roberts playing against Widnes either on that pitch.

Yup. Even Hull with injuries look far sharper. I really hope we can get it together soon. Although if we are 6-7 bybhe split I wouldn’t be surprised to see the hard pitches produce some better performances. Providing Roberts isn’t injueeed and we have some props available.

Hill and Brown are not leaders though... Roberts is a cheeky scrum half so I just wonder if it’s worth giving him a bit of responsibility for rallying the troops.

Unless Price makes changes I can see us losing all of them and most of them convincingly

Widnes just got beat by a drop goal at Cas, does that mean Cas are now poop, or Widnes are now very good and just ran a good Cas team close, if that’s the case then we will get stuffed next week.

Cas are not the team they were.

I wonder if Widnes will raise the excuse of "backing up on a short turnaround".

They won't be needing to use any excuses....unless they want to explain how they didn't hit 50

Hopefully what we'll see is consistency. Doesn't matter if that is consistently bad or consistently good, what I cant handle is the wishing and the hoping.

Not more than 7 points between the last 2 games over the wekend.(whistles)

As I said when a team gets a thrashing...they haven't paticularly had a tough game just a bad one.

Wire and Leeds had a tough encounter...both team fatigued....Whereas kr and giants didn't. Hence close games the week after.

Using that as a template...Widnes had a tough game whilst Wire didn't...Wire to thump Widnes next week is my call.

Form isn't always in the result of a scoreline.

You seem to be dismissing home/away advantage. Do you think the last two games of the weekend play out the same if Saints and Widnes were the home teams?

No I'm not dismissing home advantage... that is worth a try and goal but little else. So I that is how I factor it in.

Look I went completely open before those last to matches and put my cards on the table after calls this week of me posting how I bet. WIRES71 can vouch for that.
So I made a call on those two games.

For next week I gave my reasons....and my call now is Wire to beat Widnes because all we've done is pretty much regroup behind our own goal line for much of the game. Nothing hard in that, whereas Widnes have had a belter of a game as did Wire vs Leeds.

It's not a foolproof system but something betters and bookmaker forecasters don't take into consideration.

And yes injuries can have some effect but not like fatigue...eg Hudds had 5/6 players out to Wires 1....we were fatigued and they wasn't.

Money to be made at Widnes as Wire might even go in as slight underdogs.
