Just out of curiosity this poll.

My memory is a bit flaky, i seem to recall around 90 my dad taking me, but this also co-incided with my school St Josephs playing at Wilderspool before a game like they used to. We then got to watch Wire play Hull KR afterwards.

Not sure which came first though, my dad taking me or playing in the Miller 7's and watching that game. Either way was around that time......

My Dad took me from the age of 7. I used to go with him and my Grandad. Blimey that was 33 years ago now and they are both no longer with us. Trying very hard to get my 11 year old girl to become a regular to continue the blood line.

Mines a bit of two - my Dad got free tickets, and took me and a mate, in 1979, when I was 10........ And here I still am!

Had a year's break, and started going again in August 2010.

Not been to a match since, though I might go to Old Trafford in October should they get there.

My Dad is a fan as is my nan(still has season ticket at 80). Dad also used to be a grade 4 & Grade 2 referee. So pretty much grew up with the game. First game in 1987 v Featherstone.

Went with my dad frequently as nipper but used to just run up and down the terrace between people's legs in the Railway End along with loads of other kids. Sat up and took notice the night we beat the Aussies. That was when something clicked and was in love ever since. I would imagine the parental influence is the overwhelming reason for going though.

I won a competition around 1992/3 for a Midweek game vs Featherstone with a meet the players bit thrown in etc. I was 10, dont remember the score and wasnt interested in the game either. Sat at the back of the Bevan Stand. Remeber the smell of winter green in the changing room though!

A few years later. I was given 2 free school tickets. I think in 1995 or 6. Both Friday night games. We lost both games. One was vs Workington and we lost by a point (i seem to remember the lights dying too). The other was against Fax and we lost again. I went for the banter with mates at the time, but it quickly became an obsession!

Went with 2 Primary School friends in 1966 to a game in the RL Cup game v Cas. Hooked straightaway. Left home in Sept 1974 to go to Teesside Poly, met a woman, got married in 1978 and never really came home to live again. I've done a lot of miles and spent a lot of money over the years watching the Wire, every penny worth it.

Was a football lad growing up but when I left the army and returned to Warrington & my son going to school in the area, it was all he went on about. I took him along to the HJ under Cullen and never looked back. P.S. What's football?

I was taken by my Dad when I was 9. I've done my bit to improve crowds - wife now attends as does father in law. They're Mancunians but now follow Warrington. My imminent first born, also a Mancunian when he/she arrives, will also be given an opportunity to watch us play. The lucky thing.

Started watching in 1973, think it was john bevans debut match

I grew up watching a bit of RL, but pretty much all of it was on the TV as my dad's still one of those people who hates going to games because you can see better on the telly. It wasn't until a friend of mine at school took me to a match at Wilderspool in 1999 or 2000 that I started supporting Warrington. To be honest, given some of the performances I saw in those first couple of years, I'm amazed I stuck with it.
