Looking at wigans game in hand is abit scary...

Catalans beat them next week and game in hand has gone. Don't they play St Helens a fortnight later too?

Why is it a bit scary? If they go out and put 62 past Cas without scoring ( I use that as it was our score ) then if we beat them at home were above them. SIMPLES

and Hudds the week after that. Good stuff.

Also they have to come to our place in the penultimate game of the season.
That game could be sooo important.
In fact the teams in 2nd , 3rd and 4th all have to come to the HJ and we don't have to visit their places.

Just saying Wigan are that good and it will be difficult to get the 2 points back once going behind and/or if we slip up!

The most important thing is that we finish in the top 2. Whether we play Huddersfield or Saints it will be a very hard game, but I don't have a massive preference.

We're in the best position we've ever been at this stage of the season, so happy.

Bit scary, odd choice of words. The kids have just watched Ghostbusters 2 and my daughter said 'dad this is a bit scary' at just the time I read your post. How spooky is that! The coincidence I mean not the film, which obviously is also spooky but for different reasons.

I'll say it again, this game in hand stuff is irrelevant because there will be alot more twists and turns yet. Wigan won't win every game from now and till the end of the season.

There's a long way to go yet. But, we're in a great posistion as are Wigan. If I had to pick a final then it'd be Wigan versus us. Both of us are playing some great stuff at the minute, and the Cup game has the makings of an absolute thriller.

Haha quite amusing,Scary as in happy to be where we are but scary as in because Wire and Wigan are basically just as good as each other and at any one time Wigan can over take us.

Putting words out in open,being used to being in the lead for a change and to see us being on top for the first time properly since i have been watching warrington these 15 years is a honour also scary.

Wigan have got a tough few games coming up with Catalan, Saints and Huddersfield.. Lets see if they win all of them first! If they don't and we beat them at the hj bobs your uncle!

She's only five so I think she finds the whole thing a bit scarey. But yes, like most little girls she loves babies, so didn't like that bit.

I better not show her the league table, or she'll have nightmares for a week.

Like earlier poster says to many twists and turns yet and about another 4 months or so of top quality rugby to worry about,should be a cracking second half to the season though!!

I'd rather be in our position than theirs.

We have the points in the bank (a game in hand means nothing until you have played it) and our points difference is very unlikely to be overtaken. That game in hand also means they have one extra game to fit in which will drain their energy as well as risk injuries/suspensions. We have beaten Leeds home and away and have three games left against our other closest challengers (Pies, Saints and Huddersfield) and all those games are at home. The Pies still have to entertain Huddersfield and Leeds as well as visit Saints and ourselves.

A lot of water will pass under the bridge between now and the end of Round 27 and I wouldn't write off Saints or Huddersfield yet.

Agree 100%. If you win the "hubcap" then all your rivals will just dismiss it as meaningless anyway. Just get into a good play-off position then hit some great form to the final. Remember how many great seasons Stains have had to then run out of gas at the final hurdle...
