| Okay, we’re all a bit bored and impatient as it’s the off-season and there’s no news on any signings.
To change the direction of recent posts, a new kit reveal is on the 4th November and it will be a few weeks before those in the know on here get to leak the design details. What sort of kit do people want to see for 2023? I’m talking about design not quality issues.
Personally, I want to see a shirt that’s very different from the 2022 design. Psychologically, I want the team to be able to completely disconnect from last season. I’d prefer either a predominantly primrose one, that looks much more modern than the 2021 version, or a white 2005 / 2012 style strip with p&b detailing / v’s, or a couple of hoops. I think the lighter colours stand out better at night for an attacking team, and also are psychologically more ‘upbeat’ and iconic. Whatever it is, it has to be as far from 2022 as it possibly can be. I haven’t thought about the away strip yet.

| I love primrose and blue hoops ‘94 & 2011 in particular. But I think white would be good this time.
And a bold away strip, not quite the silver ‘05 but something different.

| I'd like to see pnb stripes or hoops, away the same but white and green or red and green.
Last seasons kits were awful IMO.

Of course, to make Vaughan, McGuire and Dufty feel at home you mean? Even though for two of them their last kit was blue for a year.
Steph Curry (RIP) would melt down in minutes if that happened.

To be honest, I've never been a fan of the Parramatta imitations. And they're always associated with dismal seasons.

| The 1992/93 away retro was the best kit released last season by a long long way. Make red and green the home colours.

I think an updated version of that combo with a tight fit and no collar would look great. The only problem is the Hoover logo. It ruins any kit. Can't we ask them to update it so we can just have a large Hoover wording across the chest without the 1950s badge?
(I'm not being ungrateful about blue-chip sponsors BTW).

| Bring back the '97 kit. Retro
I also like my one shirt wonders like the black shirt with the silver in it. Forget the year.

Maybe I’m thinking 93 or even 92. The diamond effect on the chest with hoops about the torso. The away was green and white of the same design.

| 2005 Home kit for me is my all time favourite kit, but that's pure Nostalgia as that was the season i went to my first game as an adult at the start of the season. I love the kit, i also LOVE the 2006 away kit, all Blue with Yellow collar. But all in all i'm not sure, not a big fan of the Hoop designs, but haven't really liked many of the designs enough to buy one for quite a few years now.
My guesses are always wrong so will wait to see on the pitch when they come out

That one! Loved that shirt.
As above, the 2006 away was fantastic, think we wore it in the second round of the play offs away at Bradford.

| You know, weirdly enough, I never associate this with hoops, just the broken pattern at the top.
2003 away was the tin foil one, Sean mellor's idea iirc.
He said to me at the time, If you're gonna do something non traditional, might as well go all the way, "it's so bad its good"

It's weird how you associate things with certain memories. I remember this shirt because I was watching us on Sky playing Hudds away at the start of the 2003 season, and the War in Iraq was started that night (with the infamous 'shock and awe' campaign). I remember flicking between SkySports and Abu Dhabi TV News to see the latest! And I think Stanly Gene knocked Dean Gaskell out cold (or maybe that was a later match).
EDIT: It was London away on Sky. The Hudds match was the previous month.

Seems I’m 2 years out on everything! Won’t even get a Popmaster T-shirt.
I actually remember the Huddersfield game, Gary Hulse has his best game for us.

I think you're thinking of the one nat wood kicked out of 3 giants players, they got promoted and were touted as this rough side, then he dispatched 3 of their rougher forwards

Why? It would look stupid. Why do some people demand that people prove to everybody else that they aren't homophobic or racist etc. Just get on with being a good member of society and you will be ok.
On the wire shirts. I was a fan of your 2013 p&b stripes and the team want half bad then either.
