Would anybody else be willing to remove him from the salary cap, and get a better forward?

He took in one carry last night and I personally (if hes not injured) think that is disgusting.

He wasn't on the field for big minutes and was the dummy cut out player and did around a fare share in defence.
Wire play running from the acting half with outside backs.
There's not a great deal he can do if he doesn't get a pass towards a good carry stat.

He stunk more than a tramps vest but sadly wasn't as lively.

Reminds me of that old story about Ged Byrne at Wigan. At half time, John Monie was laying in to the team (they were probably winning but he liked to be a perfectionist) and he asked Ged Byrne why he had only made one tackle all game. Byrne looked up at him and said "would you run at me?"

Touching the ball once in a 20 minute spell is unacceptable. Don’t care if he was a good dummy runner or not he should be ashamed sitting in the video session.

BMM is in the same bracket. He’s 18 stone +, he can’t pass, not quick, can’t play 80 minutes and has no lateral movement. Therefore he’s a prop. Back in my day someone that big staying out side to run at half backs was called a s...house, not an impact forward. Yet Hughes has to go in the middle so he can come on, then go back when he’s blowing. Get in the middle, roll your sleeves up and get some work done.

BMM regularly did big minutes at Salford, 60+ easy. I get the impression he does fairly similar here, does he generally go off once he comes on?

Either way, the minutes BMM is playing is down to the coaching staff rather than his capabilities.

Coaches rarely take off players who are playing well, showing little fatigue and show genuine interest. He rarely carries that ball in our half, does little ‘graft’ to get tired, hardly the workhorse type.

Don’t want him to be the workhorse type, he isn’t a workhorse type. He didn’t get in to the SL Dreamteam by being a workhorse, or play off the bench in a very talented Tonga team by being a workhorse.

We need to use him better, I don’t want to see him carting it up the middle (not that he does), I want a talented halfback giving him good ball close to the line, or have him as a foil for the centre / half to go for the line.

I don’t think BMM has been great this year, but I don’t think we’ve used him well either.

I don't quite understand your logic. Are you suggesting we cannot critique a player unless we have played Pro Rugby League?

I have to disagree with regards to BMM. maybe I am looking through rose tinted specs , but he sometimes looks like the most dangerous player on the pitch IMO

Just fed up how every bloody week members of this forum seem to find a player or 2 to pick on ,, players that put their bodies on the line for us ,playing one of the toughest game in sport , many playing through pain and injury for the team for the coach and for us fans , if the coach picks them week in ,week out that’s good enough for me , I apologise for respecting our players ,,, sorry not sorry

The signing of both Sita and Bmm was met with positivity due to us signing two big runners with the ability knock others into next week when required. Have i missed these attributes over the past 23 rounds? I recall one big run from Sita, one from Bmm. Why do we use these guys from standing starts instead of on the run, that's frustrating and why (in my opinion) they look lazy and uninterested.

I don’t think he’s been poor necessarily, i think he’s been decent. I just don’t think his form has been as good as his 2017 dream team form. Probably due in part to Salford building their attack around him more than we do.

I understand both sides to this and the views of those who have never put a pair of boots on should be listened to. I reckon though those who have played a bit to tend to have a bit more sympathy. (Garry Schofield not included)
If you've played the game you've played pretty crap yourself ... interlaced with the (very) odd satisfying display.

It would be a quiet forum if only ex-players could comment. I've not played since school but feel that on a Warrington Wolves forum it is reasonable to discuss players performance.

If you don't like reading others opinions that you disagree with or find upsetting then perhaps the forum isn't for you. It's easier to take yourself away from the forum rather than trying to mandate that every poster adopts a "I shall not criticise" standpoint.

A good example was that I have never coached a Pro-RL side but I knew when Tony Smith had had his chips. I also knew that Russell and Rhys Evans were not the standard required. Luckily Price agreed.

You don't need to be a weatherman to know it's raining but sometimes the comments on this forum are a bit extreme.

Anyway ... I'm looking forward to the "RLFANS.COM Wolves" end of season get together. With extensive buffet and disco starting at 7.30 pm ending with a bit of 90's Disco frenzy then a slowy at about 9.05 ... and then off home. Perfect night.
