I used to look at the announced squad and think 'someones getting a hiding this weekend'.

Funnily enough, that exact thought sprang into my head when i looked at this one.

My first reaction is to think we ought to be able to put a competitive performance up out of them "names".

But how do we know who is trying and who isn't?

I'd probably have King in for Livett and swap Westwood and Savelio, fancy him to have a good game against his former employer.

Tough trying to guess what team will be selected from the 19. I assume TS will want Ratchford, King and Crosby back fit asap such that they will play. My guess would be that Philbin and Johnson will miss out.

swap JJ for Evans. Evans has pace and JJ can pass.

Crosby has decided to come back then after his 3 week paternity break !

Few of us know about DC and his family other than the new addition. I think discresion and blessing is all that is needed here and a genuine gratitude of his return.

Philbin and Johnson to miss out, although if it was me I'd pick Johnson ahead of both Russell and Evans

If there are mitigating circumstances and Crosby needed an extended break I've got no problem with that ... But why the secrecy ? Just find it a bit odd our new signing has taken 3 weeks off from team duties.. Considering the position we are in and the fact I would think he'd want to establish himself in our first team..

Just because he plays for us does not entitle us to know the ins and outs of his personal life, there has been no secrecy we were told he was off for paternity. if there were any issues there would be no need to make them public knowledge but 3 weeks of is not a long time really.

I hope he n his family are ok and he can come back and make an impact

I'm not fortunate enough to have access to any inside info, i was just asking a question as many do about many things on a forum.

I give credit to Warrington for allowing Crosby time off dont think every club would have given the issues the side has at the moment

well thats great, drops another young head, who granted,has been 'patchy' but i'd say westwood has been a lot worse and probably should miss out.

Agree. That Andre has looked half decent. Which is a great marker to set compared to the rest of the standards set so far this year.

I've seen corner flag move and react quicker to stuff than B Westwood Circa 2017

Perhaps he has dropped Andre as the game is at Saints?

Isn't he our top try scorer ?

Probably the reason and a good one at that, I mean if motivation is the key it would be incredibly difficult for TS to get Savelio up for this
