Heard a very strong rumour that we could be signing chase I know it could just be talk but what would people think I know he is unhappy at Salford doesn't like how the club being run. I know someone who works for salford so it is a strong rumour

If it was a choice I would go for Sandow, more a complete player with organising skills and the off the cuff element. Not sure Chase would bring any stability to the way we play. We may have flashed of brilliance but we would still not be organised ?

Always chase would be a good fit at wire , it would a difficult decision for Tony if he became a available, things certainly seem to be unraveling at salford

I'd be surprised given they have Carney and Myler contracted for next year. As Salford have found out, three into two doesn't go and none can play anywhere else other than in the halves.
Would also be surprised, given their signings, that they would have room on the cap.

Find me a SL club that only has two hbs. We have at least 5 that's played there this season.

And therein may lie the reason you are not as high as you possibly should be.
Successful teams need a clear first choice half back pairing who are familiar with each other's game and work well together. None of Carney, Myler or Chase will expect to be back-up, and rotating players in these positions just doesn't work.
Sure, you need someone who can fill in should injury or suspension strike. But having 3 top-line specialist halves is asking for trouble if you ask me...

I've heard nothing at all about Chase coming here. Only read loads of hype on FB. It's like Chinese whispers gone ballistic.

It doesn't seem that long ago that Rangi was hoping to join an Aussie side & become an Aussie international.
