It's his mess, the buck stops with him (never been a fan of sacking coaches, simply because of a bad run). It's his responsibility to bang a few heads, and start coaching properly

He has to be ultimately responsible. I am wondering now why Smith said he had to refresh the coaching staff by letting Marshall and Poching go to bring in Agar.

After Wakefield the rest of the fixtures look quite daunting they may well decide his future, whatever the problem is this coming period will show us if he's got what it takes, he has some major sorting out to do.

He should stay and sort it out.

If Smith goes, who will take over. Agar appears to have been "hand picked" so if Smith's judgement is questioned, his staying will be untenable. The only person available who I think could do it would be Nobby

Keep faith. We've had similar situations at the start of every season where we start slow and certain fans call for a replacement. And every time he's turned it around. There's one thing for sure, I wouldn't want any other coach other than TS to steer us 'round this lull. Sh@t happens but form is temporary and class is permanent and TS will sort it out. I'm looking forward to putting a wager on a Wire when oddschecker odds go down, ala the guy who posted recently about a 14/1 bet on Leeds when they were in a similar situation to us before winning the Gf.

its a tricky one, because he is undoubtedly a good coach... Its possible we are seeing the end of his reign though.. If his heart isnt in the job anymore, if he has become stale, then his time will come to an end sooner or later.

If its true that he has taken more of a backseat and let Agar have some control, then you have to see it that his interest is waning.

All this 'be careful what you wish for' and 'in smith we trust' just smacks of people putting their heads in the sand... We are now a very predictable, error strewn team.. a team that he has built.

We 'should' beat wakefield.. but we will probably lose to Leeds and Wigan.... He will be under real pressure if it does pan out like that.

What you need to do is to stow the "woe is me" attitude, along with looking at your shoulder (not sure which one), reaching over and removing the chip that is currently lodged there.

Everyone has an opinion, some differ from others. People don't agree with what I say, so what, I couldn't care less, that's up to them. If I don't agree with someone, I'll let them know. The only difference is I don't go around the forum moping questioning why no-one agrees with me and taking it personally when someone doesn't agree with me.

If someone doesn't agree with you RD, then just take it on the chin and get on with it. Stop lingering over it.

This forum has really gone down the $hits the last couple of years. Used to be full of decent discussion, now all it's full of is dick measuring contests.
