Following an investigation Leeds Rhinos player Zak Hardaker has been charged with the Grade E offence of using verbal abuse based on race, colour, religion, gender, sexual preference, national or ethnic origin in a First Utility Super League match against Warrington Wolves at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday May 30.

Hadaker will appear before an independent disciplinary tribunal on Tuesday evening.

Can't see him getting the full 8 game ban. He has gave an apology statement but to be fair what else could he do? If he gets 8 games his first ge back will be the CC Semi Final.

The *apology* from Hardaker was laughable. Reading the form of words which was used it's unbelievable that those words came from the lips of Hardaker himself...It was more of a damage limitation by the Leeds club formulated by a member of the legal profession.

To be fair to Briers , he did owe Abbo one after Carl trampled him into the Old Trafford turf on his way to another grand final try and winners ring
