Should put some of the rumours to bed, he point blank without hesitation said no to big signings, lets just hope the young lads fulfil their potential and are afforded a little room by the fans.

Cooper will do his career no harm at all and will be better for the move.

He did not say there would be no more signings, only that there would be no big marque signings from Oz. Still expect so movement both in and out yet, but overall no point in having a youth policy if you are never going to give them a chance. He's not impressed me, he's not looked out of place but i wouldn't go as far as to he's impressed.

I think the fact he hasnt't looked out of place has impressed me in a way. It's a big step up, he's handled it well so far.

Asotasi in for Moz, Cooper is behind Harrison, Grix and Currie for me in a fully fit squad anyway and Riley to replace Carvell. I agree we will be weaker without Carvell, but think bringing in Asotasi for Moz will make us stronger.

I would agree with you, you have got to give the young ones a goal, a chance to get into the first team and show what they can do, but I think the trick for the coach is to get the balance right. To get the right mix of young talent with the more experienced with proven ability.

perhaps moran is not as commited as he was because if he cant see a team in decline
then we are in trouble no flair or pace in the backs and a pack getting older

carvell told me in stockton heath last week he didnt want to leave he is still class
unlike morley who is finished

are u referring to Glenn riley, if so i would like to know how many times u have watched him play in order to make that opinion. Majority of fans i have spoke are optimistic about this lad, he looks ready for super league and i am v confident he will make a big impact when given the opportunity

Don't forget Ben Evans has played most of te season for Bradford and will bring that with him when he returns

i just think its a load of rubbish. If a young man like Glenn can come into such a physical and competitive game as rl play a few games and not look out of place SURELY that is impressive in its own right!!!
maybe u should let the club know he ain't impressed you as they may think again about signing the lad up!!!

Simon Moran is smart enough to leave this stuff to Tony Smith. Wire can hardly be said to be 'in decline'. We may not have completely blown everyone away like in 2011 but a close defeat in the CC semi and 3rd place in the table isn't too sloppy. From the number of posts you've made maybe you're a newer supporter, but five years ago we were still dreaming about our current level of achievement.
